I woke up this morning with a sour taste in my mouth. Despite the beautiful weather, my mood was at an all time low. No, I'm not just grumpy. I actually have a good reason for my sorrows; it was the day Touya left me.

I muttered a few soft curses under my breath as I stubbed my toe on the nightstand. I stretched and shook out my wings before walking over to my dresser and picking up the envelope that always laid there.

Miruko had tried to question it many times, but her efforts were to no avail. I read Touya's goodbye letter over and over again, letting tears roll down my face and quiet sobs leave my body. I slid down to the ground, wrapping my crimson wings that Touya loved gently around myself. Painful sobs filled the room as I pictured Touya. His crystal white hair and turquoise ocean eyes taunting me.

You really know how to make me cry

When you gimme those ocean eyes

Before I knew it, I already had to do my patrols. I unwillingly stood up and walked over to the bathroom to get ready.

Once I was showered and dressed in my hero attire, I opened my balcony door. Standing on the balcony, I stretched out my wings before taking a dive off the balcony with somewhat less enthusiasm than usual.

I've never fallen from quite this high

Fallin' into your ocean eyes

My patrols were more boring than usual, I ended up taking more selfies with fans than actually doing any work. Several fans had actually given me a bucket of KFC which helped my mood in the slightest.

I was walking down the street to my apartment, calmly eating my KFC when I saw something I wasn't expecting. A painted feather.

I flew faster than ever before, wanting to reach my balcony as soon as possible. When I touched down on the balcony, thoughts ran wild in my head. Either Touya is back and knows where I live, or this is all some sort of crazy coincidence.

I walked into my apartment half expecting Touya to be waiting there for me. After a thorough search of my apartment, much to my chagrin, I determined everything was normal.

I was feeling even more depressed at this point, just wanting to see my childhood best friend again. The sun was beginning to set, so I flew at full speed towards the one place I felt as if I was complete. The hill in which I shared my first, and last, kiss with Touya.

As I touched down, I saw another person sitting on the hill. They looked very calm and peaceful, taking in deep breaths. I was unsure of who they were from behind, but the jet black hair looked familiar. I just couldn't quite place it.

"Who's there?" I said with a rather demanding tone. I stiffened a bit as the man turned around revealing himself to be the villain Dabi. I had never seen the man up close before, something about him seemed very familiar. He had jet black hair and a pale complexion in the places he wasn't burnt. Upon further inspection, I saw his eye color. My breath hitched, I have only seen eyes like that on Touya, but he couldn't possibly be him.

I was ripped from my thoughts when I heard a slightly shaky voice say, "I don't want a fight bird brain, I was just trying to relax." I looked back at the depressed looking villain, his turquoise eyes taunting me. I couldn't do this.

Without another word, I took off. He reminded me too much of Touya. Anything is possible, but would Touya become a villain?

Careful creature made friends with time

He left him lonely with a diamond mind

A/N Hey guys, I wanted to say thank you for 40 reads, I literally expected none. I also wanted to say that I haven't written or even looked at this story in months and my writing style has definitely changed. Looking back at my pre-written chapters, I am just disappointed in myself. I will be re-writing the chapters I already had written so updates might be slow, sorry!
