It was really cold in the parking garage and eerily quiet. It felt like if we made one noise, the whole world would hear us. The daylight doesn't reach the depths of the garage. It's about right now when I felt like I should have a weapon, there's no telling what is in there.

"Let's look for a maintenance area first." I said

"Do they even have those?" Jimin asked. I could hear the fear in his voice.

"We are going to find out." I said walking in; he followed.

As we continued to walk, I could hear the leaky pipes dripping water. The first floor cars are practically empty. That's how you know all the women and elderly got out safely at least—which is good. We still don't know what these things are exactly. We walked to the doors where the elevators were housed and opened it. Nothing there.

"I'm starting to think we should've stole the old man's keys.." Jimin said.

"Really Jimin, after he fed us and let us sleep there?" I scuffed.

I began to feel annoyed with Jimin's dark humor comments. I felt as though he didn't appreciate that he had at least one person to be around through this disaster. It made me miss Jisoo immensely.

I spot a door across the structure and decided to go for it and Jimin could follow me if he wished. I opened the door and tried to turn the light on, it didn't work. Jimin pulled out his phone to help.

There weren't that many options in the way of weapons, but that didn't mean we couldn't make our own. I grabbed a wooden mop and snapped it in half. After watching me break it, Jimin looked around to see what he could find. He ended up grabbing a crowbar and a broom. This should be interesting. Before heading out, I found a flashlight that hung from a nail near the door and decided to take it.

We ventured to the second floor. It was still uncomfortably dark, so I turned the flashlight that I found on. The cars were all jumbled together. There was no way of getting up to the third floor, or for someone getting out of the parking garage from up there.

"What now?" Jimin said.

"You know, if you have any ideas, I'm all ears." I said angrily. I was the only one out of us all who's had any ideas this far. And the only one who's kept us alive. I waited for Jimin to have at least one thought that could be of use. "Didn't think so."

"You know what, Screw you!" he yelled. "I know you want to get back to your parents, but to take it out on me is not cool. I've been here this whole time, and even after you killed our best friend."

"Keep your voice down! We don't know if we're the only ones here." I said " I didn't murder anybody. I was trying to keep us alive. The fact that you're saying that I killed her, knowing the way I felt about her is a pretty low. What is wrong with you?"

"I don't know." He said in despair. He kicked one of the cars and the alarm started going off. He walked away and left me behind.

"Great." I said sarcastically. "Now everyone will know we're here."

I quickly try opening the car doors that weren't trapped, most of them were locked. I finally reached one that was unlocked and the keys were in the sun visor and they fell to the floor. I began to hear noise, so I tried to hurry and start the car. Without being warned, I felt a hand on my shoulder. I froze. I thought, this is it. I saw her face one more time and let go of everything. I was ready to go. I closed my eyes and hoped that it would end quickly.

Then, I heard the back door open.

One thing that I loved about Korea, but now hated, was that they don't have guns. This bat won't be much help to me if I keep beating the crap out of.. Whatever those things are. I needed something sturdier than a wooden bat, but for now, this was all I got. I started to walk down the street dragging my bat against the pavement. I started to feel like I was something that came out of the walking dead. And the worst part is that I was in a country I've never been before. On top of that, there was only four percent foreigner population here. My Korean was never good, so I'd have troubles talking to the locals. After walking a while, I decided to go to Seoul.

I checked my phone, and suddenly, I have no service at all. Shit. I've lost contact with my mom and everyone else I knew. I couldn't even get the directions from Incheon to Seoul. I decided the best way to get there was via highway, which had signs that I could read. As I was walking, I saw a bike and decided to steal it. Normally I wouldn't recommend doing that, but these are desperate measures.

I started to ride the bike the way I thought would lead me to the main road and once I got there, everything was wrong. The street was very crowded, most cars were evacuated and the street lights were no longer working. The sun was so bright it was beginning to hurt my eyes. I kept biking until I saw the highway exit. If the Main Street was like this, there's no way the highway is functioning. Good for me.

A/N: hi I thought I'd put something up here, I will add to it more, but I wanted to give people some more to read and hear some feedback ❤️
