Bar Aurora , Friday 9pm.

I've been a regular to this bar for a whole month now and I enjoyed it. This simple lifestyle and doing what I love brings a sense of fulfillment and happiness. I escaped the marriage and the Don but I don't know how long will I be able to hide. New York is a breath of fresh air. I love the city, the food and the girls. I mean really? Yeah, causal relationships and one night stands is what I enjoy right now. But who don't want love, It's just it never found me again.

I play around 10 pm. the place is always packed with regulars and new people alike. The vibe is cozy, chill and intimate. I drank a few beers and readied my gear at the back stage. I have prepared my setlist for tonight, two cover songs and 3 originals of mine.

" Hey, glad to be back here in the Aurora. This last song I'll play for you is the song " Somebody Else " by The 1975.

" Whoohooo! Althea! Give us another original song! " shouted the lady at the back who is flirting with me at the bar earlier this evening.

" Alright , this next song is called Till It's Time hope you enjoy!

Jade pov

" Jade! Hey... stop looking at her. She's melting na oh and slow down on the drinks sweetheart!" Lovi teases me while I drink my second glass of Frozen Margarita.

" C'mon give me a break Lovs, it's Friday!" I laughed and spat her arm.

" Hey hey be careful. Do you see I'm working here?"

" Well, when did you become a bartended anyway?"

" Uy, instead of bullying me why not talk to Althea?"

" Naah, let her be. I'm tired of always the one to approach and we still haven't talk about that incident on the Reunion. It's kind of awkward."

" Oh Jade, as if you don't like it too! Hah! "

" Oh I will cause speaking of an angel..." I saw Lovi look passed me and when I trace her eyes I saw Althea coming towards us with her signature smirk.

" Hi Jade, care if I join you? "

"Uh of course, I mean No , Yes.." I hateee myself when she is around..Damn Jade pull yourself together!

"What?" She laughs at me with a teasing tone.

" I mean you can join." I just smiled at her and she smiled back. This tension towards her is suffocating. I always feel like I want to throw myself into her arms.
