Tito Oscar is my godfather. Dad's bestfriend and Business partner.

They own the TanChi Resorts and Residences comprises of the The Verge Hotels and Casinos a chain of 5 star luxury hotelsand condominiums. I remember Dad telling me stories of how He and Tito Oscar went to college together, their adventures together in the armed forces as navy seals and eventually to being busines men.

They both came from middle class families.Granpop and Grandmom is University professors and Tito Oscar's parents own a number of Inns in our town. They fought hard through life. Their parents raised them to be God-fearing, responsible, and hardworking individuals.

That's why even our family owns the biggest and famous Construction firm in the country the SRA Builders, Contractors and Engineers;

We are raised with high regardbof discipline and values. Sleep at 9pm in the evening and wake up at 5am everyday.

We have our own chores in the house, from washing the dishes, taking out garbage to cleaning our rooms.

Of course we have someone in the house to do that, but Dad just set it out straight that we have schedules in doing that every week.

He said we must grow up hardworking and with thinking that we must work our way up and not depend on anyone elses.

But me, I guess I'll always fail on his standards. But even though I'm quite a slacker and stubborn, I'm his favorite.

Yes, my dad and I are close. He is my confidant, my hero.Though he is uptight and I am a loose thread,He didn't fail to motivate me and encourage me to do my best and have more patience specially in dealing with my brother Miggy.

Yes, Miguel Guevarra. He is an epitome of perfection and my mothers favorite. We fought a lot. From food, toys, bikes to extension cords...

We almost argue about anything. He is a really good student than I was. He Aces all his subjects and is very sweet boy that's why Mom is fond of him.
