And just as after my Mom left, my tears welled up again and I cried for the nth time.

After my crying session that afternoon...I went out to see Batchi ...I haven't even tried to fix myself. I still wore my pjs, a robe and carry my big tumbler of CheeseBalls which is my source of energy and happiness that whole month since I rarely eat food.

"Al?" Batchi said in a surprised tone.

"What happened to you???"

"You are so skinny...dont tell me you are doing drugs?!"

"Shut up Batchi...It's not it"

"She left me Batchi" and my tears like waterfalls poured out as I hug my best friend.

"So, she went with her bro.to the US?"

"Yes, she said she wanted a fresh start... a clean slate...she wants to be straight again...that our relationship will not work out because It isn't right the first time" I tell my bestfriend between sobs.

"I beg her to stay Batch...I told her we will study in the same university so we could still be together, no one will know of our real relationship because we are bestfriends. We will graduate and go to US eventually... it's all planned Batchi " But She has her own plans while all the while I think about was for the both of us...I love Jade so much and It hurts so much Batch...It hurts soo much!!!" I shouted and I let myself fall on tears again. "

"Hush, Al... sshh everything is gonna be okay. You still have your life ahead of you. Don't let it be wasted because of a damn heartbreak. While Im about to change to my bathrobe, I caught Batchi quite looking at me.
"Eeeewww Batchi, dont give me that look like you have an ulterior motive for me huh!" And a laugh long gone echoed in the bathroom as Batchi explode in laughter too.
