It had been a week since Sahil's birthday. Pranati was in her cabin doing some work when someone barged in. She was turned around and suddenly a pair of lips were on her. She closed her eyes and an arm was wrapped around her waist and she was pulled up and into someone's chest.

She round her arms around his neck and he pulled her more closer. They pulled back and joined their foreheads breathing heavily. She looked up at him to see a lazy grin on his lips and a smile curled up on hers.

"What was that for?"

She asked him. He gave her a charming smile and said.

"I love you."

She smiled and pecked his lips.

"I love you too."

They remained in the same position with their foreheads joined. He suddenly pulled back and started pulling her with him.

"Kya kar rhe hai?"

(What are you doing?)

"Chalo."

(Come.)

"Kaha?"

(Where?)

"Bahar."

(Out.)

"Abhi? Abhi do ghante hai office ka time khatam hone mai."

(Now? There are still two hours remaining for office to be over.)

"Koi baat nhi. Chalo."

(No problem. Come.)

He said still dragging her. She held his hand and stopped him.

"Mujhe mera samaan toh lene dijiye."

(Let me take my belongings.)

She said and got her stuff and they went down with their fingers intertwined. They got out and she saw his bike parked. He gave her one helmet and wore the other one. He sat on the bike and helped her sit. She hugged him and kept her cheek against his back.

This was the second time she was sitting behind him and the first time as his girlfriend. They drove for about an hour and he stopped the bike in an empty area. She got off the bike and removed the helmet and looked around. It was a park like area but there was no one in sight.

She looked at him and saw him already looking at her. He held his hand forward and she kept her hand on his. He took her near a raised platform in the park and they sat there. Her head on his shoulder. His one arm around her and the other playing with her fingers.

She kept looking at their hands with a smile. He suddenly pulled back and laid down with his arm outstretched. He motioned her to do the same and she laid down with her head on his arm. The looked up and a gasp left her mouth.

The sky was looking so beautiful with millions of stars. It seemed as if they were smiling down at them and Pranati couldn't help but let out a 'wow' in awe. She was looking at the sky with pure admiration in her eyes.

She looked at him only to find him looking at her with love and adoration. A soft smile on his lips. They kept looking at each other. He cupped her face with one hand and said softly.

"You are the first girl jo meri bike par baithi hai. Not even my mother did. Unhe bikes par darr lgta hai."

(Who sat on my bike. She is scared of bikes.)

She knew that bike was precious to him. It was the first vehicle he purchased on his own.

"Kyu?"

(Why?)

She asked in a whisper.

"Kyu matlab? Meri girlfriend hai tu. Pyaar karta hu mai tujhse. And i want to share my everything with you."

(Why means? You are my girlfriend. I love you.)

"Jab pehli baar baithi thi tab toh nhi thi na girlfriend. Phir?"

(When i first sat i was not your girlfriend. Then?)

"Pyaar toh mai hamesha se krta tha na. Bas khud nhi jaanta tha uss waqt."

(I have always loved you. Just didn't know that time.)

She felt tears brimming in her eyes. She pulled him closer and kissed him with everything in her. He kissed her with equal love and passion. He pulled back when he felt her tears. He cupped her face in worry.

"Kya hua?"

(What happened?)

She hugged him and hid her face in his chest and mumbled.

"I love you. I love you so much Sahil. This-this feels like a dream. Darr lagta hai ki ek din uthungi aur ye sab aisa nhi hoga. Aap mere paas nhi honge."

(I am scared that one day i will wake up and it will not be like this. You will not be with me.)

She said clutching his shirt. He moved his fingers in her hair and on her back in a soothing manner.

"I know mujhe bhi sapna lagta hai. But ye sach hai. I love you aur mai kahi nhi jaa rha. Kabhi nhi."

(I know to me also it feels like a dream. Bit this is true. I am not going anywhere. Never.)

He said and kissed her softly.

"I love you Sahil. Please kabhi mujhe chhod kar mat jaaiyega. Mai jee nhi paaungi."

(Please never leave me. I won't be able to survive.)

She said against his lips.

"Kabhi nhi."

(Never.)

He promised and kissed her. Holding her in his arms so delicately as if she was made of glass.

That night he couldn't help but think about everything. It was no secret that he was very much in love with her. His feelings for her were so deep that even thinking about a life without her seemed impossible.

He knew he wanted to get married to her but he also knew she wasn't ready. She wanted to give her judiciary exams first and then think about all that. Once she clears her exam he would ask her for marriage. He knew she wouldn't deny even now but her priority right now was her career. And he respected that.

It had been a week since the day of her emotional outburst and tomorrow is Rashi's birthday. Pranati was in her cabin working on some important project when someone knocked on her cabin. She gave permission and the person entered.

She got up when she saw Vaibhav there.

"Good morning Sir. You could have called me."

She said professionally. She knew that in office they were her bosses. She behaved like this with everyone except for Sahil. She maintained this professionalism in front of Adarsh also when they were with someone.

He asked her to sit and himself sat down.

"Its ok. Jiju bol lo. Umm- ek help chahiye."

(You can call me jiju. Umm-i needed a help.)

"Haan boliye na jiju."

(Yes please tell jiju.)

He explained her how he wanted to surprise Rashi and asked her to bring her there. Pranati agreed and he smiled at her thankfully.

The next day she went to Sakshi and told them about the surprise. Rashi came there in the afternoon and was surprised to see Pranati there. In the evening they took her out according to the plan and gave her a surprise party. They celebrated her birthday with everyone.
