She picked a card and flipped it over, she covered he face in shock. 'She probably got something bad' She moved her mouth from her face "You have to give me 2,000" My eyes widened '2,000! I only have 5,000! How am I supposed to buy a hotel? If I do this, I am going to have to settle for a house but houses can only be sold for a profit of 500 ... aah!' "You do not have to do this if you don't want to" she said in reply to my reaction. 'Was it really that obvious! H-How can she read me like a book?' "N-No it's alright I-I can pay, after all I have to follow the rules." I hesitantly put down 2,000 on the opposite side of the table. "Dinner is ready!" Dad said as he set the table.

"Let's continue the game after dinner." I said as we both got up and walked towards the dining room. Dad had made us lasagna! The food was delicious, we talked about random stuff as we ate. "That was delicious dad!" I exclaimed as I ate the last bite. "And I thought I was the cook! In all seriousness the food is really good. Share the recipie later, kay!". I took the cake out of the refrigerator cut it up to serve as desert to everyone. I placed each one on a plate and placed them on the table. My mom picked up a fork and put a piece in her mouth. "How is it?" I asked anxiously. "It's amazing! Is it mango?" She replied. "Yeah, I thought you would like it."  We finished eating all of our cakes. "Way didn't you bring Lily over mom?" I asked. "Lilly is busy preparing for her competions. I'll try to bring her with me next time." It saddened me that I couldn't see my sister. It's been almost a year since I last met her and I've been itching to go ice skating with her.

"Look at the time already, I've got to go." She stood up looking at her watch. "It's dark outside, it's not safe for you to travel now." My dad pointed to the window.            " Yeah, Mom. It's half past ten already. I don't think it's safe for you to travel now either. " I tried my best to persuade her as there was an increased rate of crime around my neighbourhood lately. "You can stay in the guest room for the night." He said. "I don't know, Lilly will be alone at home. One minute, I'll just ask her." She took out the phone and called Lilly. " Why don't you go clean the room while they're talking." My dad said to me as he started washing the dishes. I nodded and started cleaning.
