Chapter Twenty Nine

I woke up in the middle of the night as Scyld snd I's love making ended. He was rough and I liked it. I took a robe and wore it as I looked at myself in the mirror, wherein my shadow appeared.

'You're so beautiful, an evil being is such a beautiful sight, yeah?' she asked.

I only rolled my eyes.

'Yet as being evil, I think it is now time to kill the Mariel girl, she can be a big hindrance to us.' she said.

I then sighed.

"I can't, she's part of the pack." I uttered,

Scyld was fast asleep so he can't hear me. My shadow rolled her eyes.

'It's not impossible to have a little accident, is it?' she asked.

I sighed once more but was surprised when I smelled a scent surrounding the corner.

Without any second thought I followed it, going out of the veranda I jumped down. Thankfully without anyone seeing. I then saw a built who went towards the woods. I was indeed going to follow it for I am strong enough to fight it if it means harm. Walking out of the garden when I heard something once more.

"Yippie you told me you're mine, so why are you cuddling with that Beta? Huh?" he said, his tone was mad.

I then heard Yippie scoff.

"I'm yours yet you're not mine. Can I please be selfish for once and care about myself Syx?"

Huh, so I was right indeed. Something was really going on with my human and my noble.
I shook my head. What is it with me eavesdropping these days? I continued to smell the scent and followed it.

It lead me to a cliff near the palace, I didn't understand though, who lead me here?

"Funny, pipili nalang nga si Scyld ng reyna, yung hindi pa namin kalahi. What do you know about ruling our kingdom when you can't even rule yours."

I smirked hearing the voice, I saw the bitch's face as I turned around.

"Oh, you're the one who lead me here? I though you're still in the hospital.. healing your.." tiningnan ko muna siya mula ulo hanggang paa.

"Snout.." I added.

She only growled at me. Which made me chuckle.

"Funny, you sound like a dog rather than a wolf."

Her face then turned mad. Oh how pity can this girl be? A weakling challenging me?

"You don't deserve Scyld." she said.

I scoffed.

"And you do? What can you do to help him then?" I barked back.

She smirked.

"I know how the kingdom runs, I know him too. Bonus, I wasn't anyone's whore. I am a virgin and is worthy of a husband. How about you? Is a dirty woman like you worthy?" she asked.

'Let me out and I'll deal with her, you can't deal with her when you're hurt like that.' she said.

I was hurt with her words therefore I let my shadow take over. My eyes turned back as I smirked at her.

She paled.

Fucking bitch wants to fight me yet she's scared? How adorable.

"Virgin or not, Scyld will never love you." my shadow said as she moved forward which made Mariel growl once again.

"You deserve to die!" she yelled as she lunged towards me turning into her wolf.

I only smirked as I let her come near me yet used the same technique on her, going behind her and hitting her in the neck which made her kiss the ground.

"Sarap ba ng lasa? Dyan ka nababagay." ani ko.

Funny, her wolf is bigger than me yet I am stronger than her, so sad.

She then hurriedly attacked me once again, I was near the cliff so when I dodged her attack she almost tripped.

Almost.

"Awwie, almost getting yourself killed little wolfie? I don't have time for this Mariel. Now please go home and leave before I have a little mercy left for you." I told her as I turned around.

I was supposed to walk away when I felt her run towards me, thinking that she caught me off guard when it was the other way around.

I turned  around which surprised her and jumped as I surrounded my arm around her neck, I then whispered to her ear.

'No don't kill her!' I yelped to my shadow yet she didn't listen.

"I told you, no one messes with the queen."

and with that, I cracked her neck. Making her lifeline stop at that very moment. I let go of her wolf as I finally took over my body.

"You killed my sister." said a voice. I then looked at the person frightened.

She didn't see everything, she only saw me cracking Mariel's neck.

"The king will no about this! My sister was right! You're not fit to be queen!" she screamed and fled.

My eyes widened.

"Rosalinda!"

I yelled as I looked at Mariel's lifeless body.

"What have I done?"

Panic enveloped my system as I was in the palace, it was dusk yet here we are on the sacred hall wherein the punishing happens. Rosalinda alerted Jude which alerted my husband, good thing the word didn't reach the town yet.

"See she isn't all nice and sunshine! This vampire kills people your highness! Why are you even keeping these people here?!"

She was hysterical, looking down at my people yet Jude growled at her.

"Watch your mouth Rosalinda, you only saw a part of the story." he said.

Yippie and all the vampires were on my side, plus Syx.

My husband on the other hand was silent on the corner. Looking at me while looking menacingly at Rosalinda.

"You do not get to disrespect your queen like that, and I am no fool for this. My wife doesn't attack people without any reason at all."

Rosalinda looked shocked.

"But hour highness—"

"Silence! I am your Alpha, Rosalinda! You shall listen to me!" Scyld yelled authoritatively.

Which shut her up.

"I will do a proper investigation, for now I need Thallium to call the babaylan wherein we can know what really happened by watching Phoebe's memories. But for now, I have to ask my wife something."

He then looked at me without any softness at all. He looked all in alpha mode. Making my heart beat fast.

'He's going to loathe you now Phoebe, you're a monster.'
