"Winry! Hey Winry! Wake up!" I hear as my conciseness comes back to me. Wait, where am I?
"Mhhh?" I open my eyes too a bright light shining down on my face. I'm laying on my back and my arms are strapped down to the bed that I'm laying in. It seems that I'm in what seems like a hospital bed with a white hospital gown that had tiny blue birds on it. I turn my head to the left and see various surgical items on a silver table that was reflecting light onto a part of my gown. I turn my head to the right and see were the source of the yelling had come from and is still coming from. It was Edward. Being able to see his face, I smile, but he was on top of the same hospital bed like bed that I was on. He was yelling to get my attention. Now panicking just a bit, I start to wrestle with the restraints that were restricting my arms and legs. He pulls up his arm binds and gets his legs free, and he runs over to me with haste."Edward? What's going on?"
"I told you, I fucked up" He says undoing the restraints.
"Can you elaborate?"
"Back in Central, there was a murderer going around and transmuting people together, sort of making a humanoid chimera" He finally got the binds off and I sit up at he gets the ones on my legs off. " He, and two other people were with him". I remember the two people passing my cell and talking about "having their way with me". I shudder at the thought. Edward, finally getting the bindings off of my legs, he hugs me tight and kisses me on the cheek. "We caught him and put him in prison"
"Then how did you fuck up?"
"He's too strong, but I had the chance to kill him... I shoud've killed him when I got the chance" Edward says with a look of culpability. I hugged him again.
"It's not your fault, It's not the time to be feeling sorry for yourself. We need to get out of here"
"You're right, come on" I stand up and I feel immediately, my legs turn partly to jelly. I guess I was laying down for a while now. My knees give slightly and Edward catches me. "Are you ok?"
"Yeah, i'm fine, just my knees are a little wobbly from sleep. I'm fine now" Edward turns as he holds my hand and we hurry toward the door. As soon as he opens the door, a loud beep sounded and red lights started flashing. Alarms. God damnit. We start to run down the hallway that has a double door at the end of it. I turn around and let my curiosity take over. I thought That I had heard growling. There were two men with two dogs in each hand, the dogs just waiting to run us down and dine on our flesh.
"EDWARD!" I yell at him and he looks back as the dogs were released from the two men's hands. The dogs were running so fast, but some how we managed to out run them. We run straight through the doors and hold the doors back .
"Winry! Back up!" I follow through and Edward claps his hands together which sends blue streaks of lightning like energy sparks around him. He slaps his hands on the ground just in front of the door and transmuted a wall in front of the door big enough that the dogs nor the two men could even attempt to break it down.
"Haaaaaaaaa" I sigh out or relief of being out of that hell hole that we were in. I hug Edward, my body basically hanging on top of his, using his body weight to keep me up.
"I told you that I'd get you out of here. Now lets go home" he says as we begin to walk home.
