I wake up the next day with the needle still in my arm, connected to the bag of blood that was also attached to a pole. The sun was covered by gray clouds and it was snowing, the white spiraling snowflakes falling on the window making even more frost on the glass. I have a slight head ache but not as bad as the first time I woke.  The room is cold and empty with nothing but the sound of the heart monitor beside me. "Beep, beep, beep" I think to myself, there is really nothing to do. So I lay there in a bored silence for about an hour and a half then I hear the door slowly creak open. Edward walks in holding a bouquet of roses. He looks at me and his eyes light up.

"Winry! Your awake!" he says happily  rushing over to me.

"Hey Edward" my voice sounds tired even though I'm not tired. I've slept long enough. I sit myself up and I feel a small, dull pain at my side and I hiss at it. I touch my side and feel bandages around my whole torso.

"No don't push yourself! Lay back down" he says. The pain isn't unbearable and I wanted to sit up.

"No its fine, I'm fine"

"That's good to hear" he sits down in the chair next to the bed when he realizes the rich, red, rose bouquet in his hands." Oh, this is for you.." he reaches out his hand full of scarlet flowers. I look up to his face and he is looking away, blushing. "Are you gonna take it?" he says, flushed. I chuckle.

"Ha, ha thanks Ed, come here" he leans over and I give him a huge hug. He hugs me back, but as gentle as a feather, acting as if I were glass and if he hugged to tightly, I would break. "Love you" I tell him

" I love you too... Winry I..." he starts

"Yes?"

"I'm sorry" He puts the blame on himself,

"Edward..."

"If I would of killed the guy back in central..."

"No Ed, stop. Stop putting the blame back onto yourself. I still love you and I will never stop loving you. Doubting yourself and blaming yourself won't change anything. It happened, its over, and I still love you"  a silence comes over the room, a deathly silence then its broken by Ed.

" Thanks Winry"

" For what?" I say as I roll my eyes. He chuckles.

"I needed to hear that" He says with a small smile on his face.

"Whatever" he chuckles again,

"That's the Winry I know" I smile and look over to him. Just then, the door creaked opened and a man that I didn't recognize came walking though.

"Hello" the man said. He wad tall with tired looking, black eyes and short grey hair with streaks of black running through like veins, though he was young looking He had strong arms and a pink scar over his shoulder. He was wearing a dull yellow scoop neck shirt with some blue jeans. He walks over to us, smiling "how is she?"

"She seems well to me" who is he?

"Winry, this is Nick. He helped me get you to this hospital"

"Hello. Thanks for helping us"

"It's good to see that your doing well" he stands there for a while then " well, I just wanted to check on you before I got going, but it seems that your doing just fine so I'll be on my way" he starts to walk out.

"Goodbye Nick and thank you again"

"Goodbye" he then walks out of the room.

"I should get back before Granny gets angry" he says. He stands up. "Alright Winry I'll see you later"

"Goodbye Edward" I waited for him to walk out of the room to start crying. the salty tears fall down my face in cascading streams.

"Please don't leave me, I miss you"

A Week and a half later...

"Thank you for all your help! I really am grateful!" I say to the doctors that took care of me. It's been a week and a half and am finally out of the hospital. I was standing in the lobby, people in wheelchairs and crutches around me slowly getting rid of their physical wounds.

"No problem" They say waving. I step outside of the glass doors, a waft of cold air as well as the crunch of snow under my feet take me back to reality and remind me that is was still cold winter time. the sun hangs in the blue sky, sitting upon the puffy white clouds. My eyes glide down from the sky to the snow covered tree tops and sparkling white snow to a glistening car in the distance. It pulls up and out comes my favorite person in the world. Edward.

"Edward..." I say under my breath. I miss him so much. I start running as fast as I could so I could get to him. A cramp started in my leg but I ignored it. My eyes started to sting and the salty water starts running down my face, the wind soon drying it. His face gets closer and closer into view and I finally slam into him, the force sending his back against the door of the car.

"Whoa, Winry you missed me that much?" he teases I didn't care, I missed him.

"Yes, yes I did" I say to him taking in huge breaths. "I missed you so much"
