After their last encounter alone, Jin and Sophie's interaction mostly revolved around texting late at night or some smiles and eye contact when they were with the group. Sophie knew that she needed to be careful as she wanted to hold on to this job to find her way back to a normal life.
When her childhood friend contacted her a few days before, she found that chatting with her made her happy. It reminded her of how everything had been so easy when both, now women, had been running around the yard of her family home, only seven years old. She always loved having the older girl around her, the latter was like safe haven for Sophie even if they had lost contact these last years.
As they were waiting at the airport to fly to the next tour stop, San Francisco, Sophie was conscious that Jin could not tear his eyes off of her. And she loved every second of it. She loved how he could make her feel sexy and loved just by looking over at her pretending that he was playing on his phone. As she stood up to go and order a coffee, she suddenly felt his presence behind her. She closed her eyes as she took a deep breath, the wooden scent of his perfume filling her nose and making her smile. "What are you having, Beautiful?" Jin whispered in her ear as she leaned a little bit back so that their bodies were touching. Goosebumps immediately ran over her body when she felt his hand on her hip. "Latte Macchiato. You want some?" She opened her eyes and turned her head, blushing when she realized how close his face was. "Oh, what I want ... is not on the menu. Unfortunately." He let out the blushing on her face increasing as she knew that he meant her. Yet, she could not refrain from flirting back. "Well, I remember your lips are sweeter than this drink." She said as she turned away from him and walked to her seat, leaving him hanging.

Jin bit hard down on his lower lips as he put his hand in the pocket of his trousers to hide the bulge that was visible to everyone. How could this woman that he had only spent one night with have such an instant effect on him? To his defense, he was starting to fall for her with every text she sent him late at night. As he began to know her better, Jin could not ignore that he was not only attracted physically to her, but he wanted more from her. He wished to get to know her better, and he desired to hold her after a day of work, massage her shoulders when he saw that she was exhausted, or kiss away the sorrow off her face when something did not go as planned. He looked back at her when Hoseok took him out of his daydream of tasting the coffee off her lips when he watched her taking a sip, licking over her lips. "Jin-hyung? Did you order?" "What? ... No, I just want a black coffee, please." He gave his order as Hoseok placed his as well. "What or better who has you all messed up, Hyung?" Jin's ears turned red when he prayed that his friend had not seen his reaction to their tour manager. "No one! What are you talking about?" "Oh, come on. We all see you texting in the evening with this goofy grin on your lips. So, who is it? Do we know her? Did you meet her back in Korea?" Hoseok was bombarding him with questions. Feeling uncomfortable, Jin took his coffee cup and walked off. "Hyung! Tell me! Who is she?" Hoseok shouted after Jin as he just passed before Sophie, who choked on her drink. "Let it go, Hoseok. You do not know her!" Jin exclaimed as he chuckled at Sophie's reaction.
