"ITS THE PRETTY LADY WHO HELPED me the other day." Cora looks up from her book to see the mother she helped find her kids. She now stood with a man who Cora assumed to be the ladies husband. Her husband seemed kind and the two make their way towards her and Cora stands up. "Hello dear."

Cora looks at the two with a sly smile, catching something behind them. Klaus stood there, arms behind his back and watched her. She turns her attention back to the two. "Hello, can I help you?" She asks with a soft-sweet tone.

"You've already helped me enough." The lady laughed and Cora joins in, pushing her wavy-long hair behind her back. "My name is Jules, this is my husband Marco."

"I'm Cora, Cora Salvatore."

"It's a pleasure to meet you but I promised to pay you back, I don't know what I would do without my children. It took us a long while to get me pregnant. It's a miracle, really." Jules explains.

Cora keeps her smile. "There's no need to pay you back, I'm just glad you found your children. Theres um...been a bit animal attacks around town." She travels her eyes back to Klaus who was smirking at her but she only flickers her eyes to the couple.

"Oh no, we insist." Marco pulls out a bag filled with paper money. "We heard about the awful news about your boss sadly passing away. This amount of money should keep you on your feet for a couple of months."

Cora looks between the couple. "I can't accept this—"

Jules takes the girls hand and Cora stares at the mother. She wondered if her father would've done the same for her. "Please do. I don't know how else to thank you." She smiles.

Cora hesitantly looks between the two before accepting the money. "Thank you."

"It's our pleasure." Marco smiles and walks away with his wife.

Cora stares at the money before turning around to carry on reading but suddenly, bumps into a chest making her look to see Klaus, arms behind his back with a cheeky smile. "Look at you, making friends, earning money for pure kindness, what a ray of sunshine you are." He teases.

She rolls her eyes playfully before sitting back down at the bench, placing the money next to her and picking up her book to continue reading, only for Klaus to snatch it out of her grip, taking a seat next to her. "Talk to me love, you could carry on reading later."

Cora looks at him and sees him hiding the book in his blaze. "Not like I have a choice now, do I?"

Klaus smirks at her. "Not exactly." He site closer to her, his hands close to hers but she keeps her face ahead, taking a deep breath as she closes her eyes, enjoying the fresh air. "Let's walk."

"What?"

"Come on. You're being a bore." Klaus stands up, smiling softly and Cora searches his eyes as he extends his hand out to her. "I dare you." He tempts and she tilts her head to the side before placing her hand on his as he pulls her up to her feet. She picks up the bag with money and book.

Klaus looks at her as they begin walking, smirking lightly. "I heard tomorrow is your birthday, is it not?" He asks.

"Yes. I'm turning eighteen." Cora said. "Ah, I love birthdays." Klaus grins at her and she laughs.

"I'm sure you do, Niklaus." She shakes her head, looking at him with the sun shining down at her, complimenting her features, her skin and eyes glowing, her cheeks seeming more red than usual and lips more rosy.

"Call me Nik, or Klaus." He told her and she raises a brow. "Niklaus is the name my father gave me."

"I see you have troubles with your father?" Cora asks, raising a brow.

"...you could say that."

Cora nods, looking ahead of her. "But Niklaus sounds nice. I'd like to stick with it, if you don't mind." She looks at him, his eyes seeming a glowing green beneath the baking sun. He liked the way she said her name, he had told Elijah to stop calling him 'Niklaus' but to no avail but when Cora says it, it sounds sweet, like any word the leaves her tongue.

"I don't mind." Klaus said as if he completely changed his mind and she nods, smiling slyly before looking ahead of her. "Just to prepare you for the most eventful night of your life, Rebekah has a large party planned out for you. Don't tell her though, it's meant to be a surprise."

Cora looks at him before bursting into laughter with him joining in. "You just ruined a perfectly planned out birthday surprise." She nudges him with her shoulder and he smiles softly.

"I couldn't help myself." Klaus whispers and her laughter dies down. "Cora about what I said when I was speaking about humans, I do not think of you as a silly person, I think you're far from that—"

"Cora!" They turn to see Rebekah and she hurries over to the two. "For the love of god, Nik, leave the poor girl alone." She rolls her eyes and Klaus sends his sister a look while Cora bites her cheek, attempting to hold her laughter. "Now, I've got to take you out for gowns." She grabs the girls arm and drags her away.

Cora looks at Klaus from over her shoulder 'sorry' she mouths and he winks playfully before speeding away.

Cora walked around as it was nighttime, she noticed Jules standing there, picking flowers. She continued walking until she heard Jules call out to her. "Cora! Come over here!" Jules yells and Cora turns, raising a brow as she hesitantly walks over to the lady.  "I knew you were going to help me find my kids."

Her eyebrows furrow. "Excuse me?"

"Cora, I'm a seer. I know there's no animal attacks. I know everything." Jules whispers and Cora remains standing there, staring at the lady as if she was insane but tried to keep her smile.

"I'm sorry, I'm not following."

Jules cups the girls cheek, brushing the hair from her face. "I can see into the future, like yours. I need to talk to you, how about we have some tea?"
