CORAS EYES FLUTTER OPEN to see Klaus in his human form, slipping on his trousers with his skin dirty. She notices she's laying against a tree and remembers her falling asleep with Klaus' wolf form on her lap. "Good morning love." He smirks.
A soft groan escapes her lips and she closes her eyes, leaning her head against the tree and closing her eyes. "I feel like ants are crawling on me."
"They most likely are. We, after all, are in the woods." Klaus winks and she grunts while he chuckles. "You insisted on coming."
"Yes, thank you, I'm aware." Cora stumbles to her feet only to find Klaus arms around her, he laughs as he spins her and she joins in, smiling weakly as he sets her down, leaning in but she stops him. "I have ants eating me, I smell like human waste and my breath might be deadly, you can kiss me later."
Klaus kisses her cheek. "Alright then." He says before ignoring her, quickly cupping her cheek and pressing his lips against hers.

Cora walks around New Orleans, it was nighttime and she was wearing Klaus' trousers again. There was a few people there, each sparing her dirty glances that she didn't pay much mind to. She closes her eyes, taking a deep breath before she continues walking. She always enjoys the moment.
A smile spreads across her lips at how Klaus treated her that day. Like a princess. She knew she helped him through the transition but she'd never seen him so..happy. Instead of ruining his day, she decided to give in and have fun with him.
When the two were walking around town, she noticed Rebekah and Marcel kissing. She knew Klaus would've daggered Rebekah and so she quickly distracted him. Klaus obviously saw but he decided to let it pass..for her.
As she walks around, she hears growling making her eyebrows furrow. She looks at the bracelet that Klaus gave her before tiptoeing to the growling and her eyes widened at the scene.
Klaus was there, a woman's body in his arms as he fed from her. He must've heard the girls impossibly fast heartbeat and spins, turning to see Cora with a mortified look. "Cora, wait—" she hurries away.
Klaus looks at the dead body before chasing after the girl. He had almost gotten hit by a carriage but was too focused on Cora. "Cora! Cora!" He calls out. He hurries, knowing he couldn't use his speed. He had a little blood on his chin but not noticeable.
It was no secret he fancied the human girl, the entire town knew by now, even Cora did. They all whispered around, spreading rumors like wildfire but Cora kept herself out of all the drama, she only focused on her horse, the Mikaelsons and herself. Now that she got accepted to Harvard, she planned on going in a couple of months or weeks.
He grabs her arm and she attempts to push him away but his grip was too strong. "You gave me your word!"
"I wasn't going to kill her, I was going to heal her afterwards." Klaus explains, a frown on his lips as his grip loosens.
"Get away from me." Cora shoved him away before rushing the opposite direction. He frowns, watching her leave.

Cora sat at home, in her nightgown with her hair up. She had her knees to her chest. She did everything to distract herself, she hung out with Rebekah, she cleaned and played with Maximus but she couldn't get him out of her mind. She was disappointed in him, everything was going perfectly. But, she didn't understand what being a vampire/hybrid was like.
Suddenly, the door knocks and she wipes her tears, standing up and opening the door to see a family looking man in his fifties or forties standing there. "Uh, hello, can I help you?" She asks, smiling kindly.
"Yes; you can." He looks around with an awkward chuckle. "I'm a hunter gatherer, i feel like I've been walking for hours. This is the first house I came across and some tea would sound lovely." He smiles.
Cora eyes him before smiling. "Yeah, of course, come in, I'll set it up for you." She whispers quietly and he nods, stepping inside as she begins walking towards the kitchen.
She begins heating up water as she makes the tea.
Cora wasn't sure what to think of Klaus. Maybe he was hungry, I mean, she couldn't just expect them not to eat human blood their entire lives. That would be selfish of her. He did say he wasn't going to kill the lady but her stomach twisted at the thought. She wanted to forgive him and talk it out with him.
Especially if what Jules said was true.
She was about to get the sugar when suddenly, someone grabs her head and smashes it against the counter making everything go black.
