She pretends to eat while joking with her friends.

By 3 P.M.

She smiles and acts like everything is perfect.

By 6 P.M.

She tells her family she ate a big lunch and excuses herself.

By 9 P.M.

She is curled up on her bathroom floor arms covered in red.

By 12 A.M.

She is laying under her covers shaking sobs racking her body.

By 3 A.M.

She clamps her hands over her ears trying to block out her demons.

By 6 A.M.

Exhaustion takes over her body and she falls asleep.

By 9 A.M.

Her alarm wakes her and she plasters a fake smile on her face ready to pretend yet again.

And at any other given time she wonders 'How did this become my daily routine?'
