My heart weighs heavy
As your fingertips spell out what you can't speak
My mind is racing with thoughts
Why aren't I good enough
What can I do better
How can I relieve this pain
I just want to feel like I'm enough
I want to fill their glass
And have enough to fill mine as well
I want to make him feel the love
I want to see his face curl into that smile
I want his eyes to look like fireworks and his body to scream Christmas morning
I want to be those moments, I want to be more than a daily dose of mediocre love.
