"Not you guys, the squad on the next world, witch I guess is also you guys" said Rex
"A squad, for what?" asked Jaune
"A squad of the most skilled individuals, tasked with saving the world from the most dangerous threats" explained Rex
"Sounds like an impressive group of heros" said Ozpin
"Who said anything about heros" stated Rex with a smirk
"What's that supposed to mean" said Ironwood
"Everyone on the squad is a convicted criminal" Rex explained, to the shock of everyone in the theatre. "but they've been bribed into joining the squad with a combination of reduced prison sentences and a micro explosive implanted in there neck. They try anything and they can say goodbye to their heads"
"That's horrible" said Blake
"But effective, Task Force X has the highest mission success out of any military group in their world, with hundreds of successful missions." continued Rex
"Task Force X" asked Winter
"The official designation, but most people call it...." answered Rex as he gestured to the screen, witch turned on to display a title.
THE SUICIDE SQUAD
"Suicide Squad, that dosn't sound very good" said Jaune
"Yeah, a lot of the missions they go on are very dangerous, but they get the job done" said Rex "Also fair warning, your duplicates in this world may look ridiculous, but they've all been imprisoned in a maximum security prison for a reason, most of them for murder or attempted murder."
The rest of the audience let that information sink in before the trailer played again.
"You know the deal, successfully complete the mission, you get ten years off your sentence." says the voice of Ironwood as he's shown onscreen with a nametag next to him.
"So I'm the one in command of Task force X" asked Ironwood
"Kinda, you run the squad but aren't the one in the field leading, that honor belongs to him" explained Rex as the trailer continued
"Welcome to Task Force X, these are your brothers and sisters for the next few days" said Clover as he's shown on screen in a yellow T-shirt holding a shotgun. His name tag appears after
