Conner - Lie Ren
(I've been on a bit of an Assassins Creed tear lately, so I'll be deviating from my original plan to make reaction videos for my favorite trailers, starting with Assassins Creed III)
"So, slight change of plans, today, I'll be showing a world at war. A war that has been fought in the shadows between two organizations. The Templars, who seek to make the perfect world, by ruling it, killing anyone who stands in their way, and the Assassins, who seek to keep the world and it's people free." explained Rex
"So, these assassins are the good guys?" asked Yang
"It depends on your point of view, if your morals and ideas of the world line up with either side." said Rex
"So, are our alternate selves members of these orders" asked Ozpin
"A few of you, yes, while others are templars, but either way, your alternate selves are doing what they think is right. Now to start off we will be going back in time to the Vale revolutionary war, when they broke free from atlas's influence many years ago."
An atleisan flag is seen on the screen as it blows away to reveal an army of soldiers with rifles, gunning down a group of Valean soldiers.
"Oh my gosh, this is horrible" said Ruby
"That's how the war was" said Dr. Oobleck
The screen then cuts to a Bald eagle perched upon a nearby tree, watching the chaos unfold
Then, Ren can be heard saying, "I watched them fight and die, in the name of freedom."
"Wait, was that Ren" asked Nora
"Indeed it was" answered Rex
"So I'm in this world it seems, and I take it I'm part of one of the two groups" asked Ren
"Correct, but as for witch one, you'll have to see for yourself" said Rex
The Ren onscreen then asks "They speak of liberty and justice, but for who?"
The eagle then takes off and begins to fly through the trees.
As the eagle approaches the clearing, it passes a mans feet, who is running across the tree tops.
The audience perk up
The screen shows the Valein soldiers camp before Lie Ren, wearing Assassins robes is seen walking through the camp.
"Woah, you look so cool Ren" said Ruby
"Gotta admit, he does look stylish" said Coco
"This style of outfit, bracers to hide the hidden blades and a hood to mask one's identity, is the typical attire of an Assassin." said Rex
"So Ren is an Assassin" said Weiss
Ren proceeds to take a horse and leap onto the battlefield.
"Is he crazy, charging into enemy fire like that will get him killed" exclaimed Ironwood
"Never, underestimate an Assassin"
As Ren charges across the field the Atlas soldiers prepare to fire.
As the shots ring out, Ren hides behind the horse and it takes the bullets and lets out a whine.
"No, the poor horse" said Velvet
Ren slides behind the cover of a rock as the Atlas soldiers fire again, the Vale soldiers watching on with interest.
As the soldiers prepare to fire again Ren charges them and leaps onto one, breaking the line.
He then proceeds to steal a soldiers rifle, using it as a club to knock out more enemies.
Ren proceeds to kill and fight his way through more Atlas soldiers while the Vale soldiers watch and give a telescope to someone important
"This version of Ren is a badass" shouted Yang
"He's taking on an entire battalion like it's nothing" said Glynda in awe
Ren dropped the rifle and switched to his duel tomahawks continuing to fight his way through the army, even as the Vale soldier fire canon balls around him.
Through the fight Ren makes eye contact with an atlesien general, and they have a stare down
"I take it that Mr Ren has a history of some sort with that man" asked Winter
"Not really, you'll see." said Rex
The general tell his soldier to attack Ren, but before they can do anything, Ren uses one as a jump pad to gain height, as he fires an arrow, hitting the general and knocking him off of his horse.
"Bullseye" said Sun
"Impressive marksmanship" said Cinder
A few people looked at her confused.
"What, I use a bow, and to get to that level of marksmanship takes skill." she explained
The General tries to shoot Ren but his gun jams as Ren towers above him.
Ren uses one of his Tomahawks to move the generals coat aside, reveling a necklace, with the symbol of the Templars.
"What's with that necklace?" asked Blake
"The cross is the symbol of the Templars" explained Rex
"So, that man was a templar?" asked Ironwood
"Yes"
Ren proceeds to slam his tomahawk into the generals head, killing him.
A few people winced at the crack that was heard.
The screen cut to the important figure revealing him to be General Avalon Scarce (An OC designed to take the place of George Washington on remnant)
"Avalon Scarce, this version of mister Ren knew Avalon Scarce" said Oobleck
"Knew him? He was friends with him, helped the General turn the tide of the war" explained Rex
Most of the audience stared in awe.
The screen raised up to show the bald eagle flying high above the battlefield before showing the kingdom of vale in the distance.
Finally, the title card appears
ASSASSINS CREED III
"So, what did you guy's think" asked Rex
"That was awesome, Ren just kicked an entire armies butts" cheered Nora
"His fighting style was quite uniqe." commented Winter
"So, would you all be up for watching more of this world?" asked Rex
"Yes" said the theatre
"The I know exactly what to show you next."
