Alice waited outside the throne room staring blankly at the red velvet curtains that hung from the medieval style window. The shouts of the top 13 rang from behind the door like a choir of dying crows hoping for water.
"I hope master is doing okay in there with them" he thought to himself while watching the birds of the nether realm twitter at each other.
Usually, Alice would accompany his master into the throne room as his rank would allow him to do so, being rank 8 and all, but today his master ordered him to stand outside and watch for potential attackers.
This Alice didn't understand, but it was an order from his master so he would obey. His master Iruma almost never gives orders so something must have riled him in order for him to do this.
"Ugh... I'm bored. I wish I could hear what master Iruma was saying in there" Alice though restlessly. If not for strict orders he probably would be by a vent or something in order to eavesdrop on the arguments, but alas orders were orders.
Suddenly there was a loud bang from the window Alice guarded, a group of 20 no 30 attackers appeared all at once they seemed to be pouring out from the birds that sat on the branches outside the window mere moments ago.
Welp, time to go to work.
