One year later:
Iruma woke up for his first day of his second year. The nether bird sitting on his dresser was being loud as usual, it was screaming at him to get up. Iruma, however, could not care less.
It was only yesterday when his good friend Asmodeus accidentally spilled the fact that he knew he was human. How he even knew Iruma was human was a mystery ,but it was not an unwelcome one.
In fact, at this point Iruma was just so happy to have his friend fully understand his situation that he completely forgot about the dangers of a demon knowing his identity for the entire afternoon of yesterday. But now that he was clear headed, he's mainly happy to just be alive today.
And so, Iruma got ready for school, saying goodbye to grandpa, and raced out the door to meet his friends. Both Asmodeus and Clara were wait outside for him already so he needed to hurry.
" Good morning Iruma-Kins!!" Clara yelled.
"Good morning sir Iruma. The weather today is lovely isn't it" As said while bowing gentlemanly. He seemed to have a glint in his eye that was not there on previous days.
"Morning you two!" Iruma called to them.

Iruma sat bored in class. Well, more bored than usual anyways. He was counting down the minutes until magic basics was over: only two more to go.
The teacher seemed to be packing in as much as they possibly could in these last two minutes too. They wanted to do a full review of last years work in one day, this however was not working out. And so they lectured until the bell rang.
Iruma was about to stand up and talk to Clara, but he seemed to have been dragged out of the classroom and into a secluded area in the blink of an eye! Even more weirdly, the perpetrator of this move was none other than As!
While one thousand bad ideas about getting eaten alive flooded Iruma's mind, Asmodeus was speaking to him.
"-ma, Iruma!! Nether world to Iruma!!"
"Huh?"
