"AAAAGH!" The pain was unbearable. Bill was slowly deteriorating my mind. Images flashed through it; perhaps an attempt to make me go insane. The most vivid was the vision of Karai; she was my best friend for 4 years, only to be mutated while I was staying in Brooklyn. The story came flooding back to me:
I was staying in Brooklyn briefly for my SHIELD training. After the incident went down, which I will not elaborate on, I came back to Gotham, only to discover that Karai was mutated and missing. And, that was the day I met the Turtles. They too were hunting for Karai, only I didn't tell them that that's what I was doing.
I knew that Bill would eventually gain control over me, but I couldn't let that stop me. It was time I told the others everything.
