As the months have flown by Dustin and I have gotten closer. Dustin introduced Ellie to Royce (the ex Calvin Klein model) she couldn't be happier. We go on double dates together all the time. I usually stay at Dustin's and my parents stay out of my way. Because mum and dad both work I hardly see them anyway so they don't know the difference. My cast has been off for 1 month now, Dustin came with me when I got taken off, I was petrified, but I held Dustin's hand and got through it. We have ended up in bed multiple times lately and well, what can I say? It's perfect. Every time I see him my senses light up and my moods change. Ellie and I still make time to hang out but it's mostly when we are on double dates. I kinda miss our friendship. It's still there just not as strong. I'm going around to his house later tonight, but right now I'm enjoying my alone time. My time to be with myself surrounded by thoughts. My phone is vibrating on my bedside table. I look to see who it is. Ellie. I answer.
"Hey Clo." she says her voice shaky.
"Hey." I say more as a question then a statement.
"Are you busy tonight?" She asks. I debate telling her that I'm going to Dustin's. I stay silent, knowing that whatever is troubling her will come out eventually.
"It's just that. Royce and I had a fight, I'm not sure if it's over. I really need someone around. My parents went out of town, and I miss you." she says crying now.
"Ellie, I'm here for you. I will cancel my plans with Dustin and we can have a movie gossip session. Okay?" I say.
"Yep. Thanks so much. Your the best." she says. "I will be at your house in 10mins." she says breaking the connection. Now I have to tell Dustin. I send him a text it reads.
"Hey Dus, I have to cancel tonight. Ellie and Royce had a fight and she's really upset. Sorry, and I love you. Xx Clo💕"
Within a few minutes a get a text back saying.
"Hey Clo. I'm really sad you couldn't come over tonight. I was getting excited, sorry about Ellie and Royce. But tell her Royce rang me asking what he should do. Being his best friend and all, I told him to show up at her house with flowers and a sorry note. If you get bored/ditched by Ellie feel free to come over. Love you lots. Dus❤️." I smile to myself whilst reading the text, I can feel my cheeks flush.
My door bell rings and I get a weird feeling. I look out my window but I can't see a car, who could have walked. I call Dustin. He answers.
"Hey Clo what's up? I only sent that text a few minutes ago." he says.
"Dustin." I say shakily. "Someone's here and I'm scared there's no car and it's 10:00 at night." I feel like screaming.
"What? Hang in there. I will be there as soon as I can. Keep me on the line and look through the peep hole. Be as quite as possible." he says. I get up and walk down the stairs. I don't touch the lights, as I walk I try to keep my breath steady. I can hear Dustin trying to start his car. I look through the peep hole.
"Dustin." I say terror stricken. "Its Josh." As I say it my heart skips a beat.
"Clover." Josh yells. "I know you're in there." he yells again. "I warned you what would happen if you didn't watch your mouth." he says Pounding on the door. I'm aghast.
"Clo. Hang in there, I'm calling the police." Dustin says.
