Multiverse Series: Sentient Love (Book Two)

Chapter 3: Blackout

    My ears ringing, I try to open my eyes, but they are covered in oil, only able seeing blurry figures of Rose, Rossa and Royce.
     "Hurry! He's dying!" Rose scream panicking.
    "He's not! Get out if you only disturbing!" Rossa yells at her as she waves her hand, using magic to clean me up from the oil that covered me. Rose sat down next to me and hold my hand. I can feel her tears fell on my hand. Slowly my eyes feels heavy, numb as my body sink into the darkness.

      I open my eyes, and I can see clearly, I'm standing on the end of a cliff. What happen? Another dream? Carefully I come down the cliff, only to be spooked by a woman voice. I turn to the voice, it's coming from the end of cliff, a familiar woman figure flutter her blue butterfly wings, as her face glows.
    "La Fata Turchina?" I murmurs underneath my breath.
    "I am my child." her face glow down slowly revealing her classic beauty face, with the bluest pair of eyes as her blue-ish gray hair flows.
    "What is it now?" I asked.
     "It's about time for your gift." She insisted as her eyes glows.
     "What is the gift?" I asked more as I feel uneasy with her.
     "To be human." She said it gently and as golden light shine from her back. I feel conflicted. The gift she offers is every artificial intelligence being dream off. But, she, Rose love me the way I are. And I should have love her the way she do.
     "I'm sorry but I can't accept it." I rejected her gift.
     "What!? Why!? Isn't this what you want?" She bellowed as her eyes turn red.
      "I know! But she love me no matter human or not!" I responded to her question.
      "As human, you can love! A humanoid and human will never be together!" She still persuading me.
        "I'm capable of love!" I said as I know won't change for Rose. She love me the way I are.

     As she slowly flutter towards me, like in the previous dream, she pulls her hand out, rest her hand on my chest, slowly push it, penetrate into me as she tear something out. She push me again, and this time out of the cliff. Shattered as my body hit the pointy rocks below, I gasp awake. What's with this dream? Tears running down my face. I'm cried? I look around, my eyes no longer blurry and Rose, she sat down next to me, and sleeping as her hands holding mine. I can see Royce's back, he is at the study table focusing on the Data Depot. I try to stand up and accidently startled both of them.

    "Akira!" Rose shouts and hug me tightly. Royce push me down, forcing me to sit on the bed, and do multiple quick check up.Rossa enters the room as she heard the fuss.
    "Who did this to you?" Her face tighten as she asked.
    "I don't remember." All I could said, because I really don't know!
     "There's a folder, Project LC in your data, can you access it?" Royce ordered me to check into my database. I pause for a moment as I try to access it inside my mind, but I can't.
    "I can't, What do you think it is?" I asked him back and he just shrugged it away.
    "Why are you crying?" Rose came closer and wipe my non-stop tears with tissues.
    "I think it's my body, trying to reject oil that slip behind my eyes." I said as I look at Rossa who is smirking. Rossa nodded teasingly and stand next to me as she waves magical energies that clean into my eyeballs. We both smile as she mouthed 'I did miss some part' and wink away, then I thanking her as I rubbing my eyes.

      Royce then asked Rossa what did she find at the place where I was chained. She sighed, then sit on his bed as she telling us. When she was teleported to where I was, the room is empty and I'm chained to the wall. No one was there. She quickly unchained and grab me then teleported us back home. Royce eager to know who were the kidnappers and wanted to investigate the place. But Rossa stop him, as she already did scan the whole building using her magic, but nothing and no one is there.

     "Guys, are you going to take Akira to the factory for check up?" Rose interrupt them with a question. Both their face changed.
    "The multiverse devices are malfunctioning." Royce said with his face down.
    "What do you mean?" Rose asked raising her eyebrows, surprised.
    "Both Teleporter and Barrier are not working. Only I can move freely between the multiverse now." Rossa speak proudly with her voice cracks. I look at Rose, her face worried. I don't like to see her like this. I must do something too! Should I tell them about the Blue Fairy? "Yes, I have too!" I thought to myself.
