Chapter 7: The Runaway Show

   Three months have passed. Things are still not calming down, since everything were recorded on the news. The title were Hero Of Las Estrellas or Magic Girl of Las Estrellas. There are even videos going viral on the internet. Luckily that her face can't be seen, and her identity is unknown.

   Lots has happened after the incident. Akira has quit the Cafe for a month now, to pursue his career as a model in Las Estrellas. Sarah support him to be a model, Rory take his place as the supervisor. Although no longer working there, he will come daily with Karina and Arthit to the cafe for lunch.

   Meanwhile, Rossa is nowhere to be found. The Witch Council that came three months ago were aftering her to stop the changes of future. They believe, she has gone astray from her prophecy. Elvana, the leader of council said she was never a criminal. The reason they are gathering the Omni-guard and Arch-guard are to make sure she doesn't lost control her power, because her magic is raw and powerful.

   Royce, he been staring a lot and he told us what happened that day. The conversation he had with Elvana and Naphlene, always playing in his head.

   "Listen child, we know she gave you the book, and we won't take it from you." Elvana speak as her deep voice trembles into his heart.
   "What do you mean?" Royce asked, confused.
   "The Grimoire, it was belong to her from the beginning." She said and Royce surprised.
   "Why didn't you tell her about it?! She wouldn't runaway if you did!" Royce yelled angrily.
   "We are forbidden to interfere with time, and I believe your universe do the same too." She calmly reply.
   "But why isn't she a criminal for temper with time magic?" Royce eyebrows raised as he surprised.
   "She was never belong to us, we are just taking care of her." Her eyes saddened as she speaks. Naphlene grab her shoulder, and she turn to Naphlene and hug her as she cry.

   "It all started 19 years ago." Naphlene slowly close her eyes as she telling Royce a story of the Goddess called Vernia. A goddess that they pray to, in their universe. She is the deity of universe, that keeps everything balance and in order between the multiverse, living in the plane of Magnus happily.
    One day, they decided to do space exploration program to meet the god and goddess, but were curse and be thrown back to the earth. Since then, the space exploration is banned.
Goddess Vernia felt pity to the people, as she knows the god and goddess shouldn't keep the people from meeting them. She taught the people Intra-dimensional magic that allows one to teleport between universe.

    Chronos, keeper of the time, got mad when he heard what happened. He challenge Vernia into a duel to death. As the duel begin, we all knew that Vernia would win with her space magic as it is a natural counter for his time magic. The fight continued for many days, until one of them fell on its knees, which is Chronos. On his verge of death, he tricked her by threatening to stop the flow of time forever, Vernia who doesn't want anyone involves, got impaled to her death with the time scepter.
    Chronos arrogantly bellowing as he won. But, the other god and goddess knew his disgraceful act that has bring dishonor to them. They punish him by taking away his powers, and banish him out from the paradise into Plane of Oblivion forever. The death of Vernia and banishment of Chronos have been told through revealation to their people. Now, both time and space has lost its keeper. As the last respect on the fallen god, The other god and goddess decided to put together the time power and space magic into a book, the Grimoire.
    The fusion created the forbidden grimoire along with a baby girl, born from the fusion of the magic and power, even the god and goddess knows nothing about as their never intended to create her. The girl then was handed to us, the Witch Council for care. The Witch Council, who sending her off into the orphanage while watching over her from a far.
