The man truly did have an unhealthy obsession with you.
His blue eyes scanned the walls of his basement that just happened to be covered with pictures of you. He knew it was cliché stalker behavior, but coming down here to add new photos of you was rather therapeutic after a stressful day of saving the horrifically accident-prone people of this town. Day in and day out, his free time was constantly interrupted by those idiots. He hated them all at this point. What was the point of saving them if they simply reincarnated the next day? It was a brutal cycle that Splendid no longer wanted to be a part of. Of course, there was one person who never needed saving—who never ever found herself in a dangerous situation.
You.
It was rather miraculous, really. While everyone in this town has died at least once in their strange lives, you were the exception. It was almost comforting for him to know that he didn't need to worry about you since you lived so safely compared to everyone else.
Splendid was meticulous when he lined the wall with the newest pictures he'd obtained of you. It all surrounded a single piece of paper framed in the middle of the wall: the first fan mail you had ever sent him. Back then, you had been friends with Splendid but you hadn't known his secret identity at that point. You had sent him that letter, thanking him for trying to save everyone and he swore to keep it forever. That was the only fan mail he'd ever received from someone in this town.
A wistful smile appeared on his face. He wanted to live those days again.
That smile disappeared as quickly as it came when he found a picture of you standing next to Lammy and Nutty. His eyes narrowed at the sight of them laughing with you. It should've been him.
He couldn't be mad at you for having friends, but he was jealous because he barely had time to watch you while being a superhero.
Splendid was an odd person. Everyone thought he'd maybe end up with the adorable Giggles, but he denied her. Besides, did everyone forget about how many times he'd accidentally killed her while trying to save her? At first, Splendid couldn't figure out for the life of him why she had asked him out, but he later theorized it was likely due to his good looks and the fame that came with his real identity being revealed a few years ago. Once everyone found out he was a superhero, his life was pretty much ruined.
However, now that you knew he was a hero, that at least gave him a chance with you, right? He wondered if you even cared if he was a superhero...did you even think of him at all anymore?
He didn't want to think about it.
Splendid glared at the picture so hard that he accidentally activated his laser vision and burnt the whole thing down in his hand. He sighed, blowing the ashes away. It didn't matter; the pictures with solely you in them were the only ones worth keeping.

"Hey, I'm kinda hungry," you stated with a slight pout as you looked over to your sugar-obsessed companion. "Got anything to eat?"
The green haired male twitched a bit out of irritation before narrowing the one eye that wasn't already. "Gee, maybe if you hadn't stolen my candy and eaten all of it, then we'd have some!" he screeched, thrusting both his arms in the air in that strange Nutty way of his. You groaned, regretting your actions. He needed some sugar soon or he was going to cause trouble—you were sure of it.
"Ugh, when are you going to let that go? I'll buy you some more later." That was the last time you stole his candy.
You two were currently lying on the couch in his home waiting for Lammy to come by so you could all hang out. She mentioned something about a tea party, and you agreed to come so you wouldn't hurt her feelings, while Nutty agreed to participate because there was bound to be sugar for the tea.
You were alarmed when Nutty's nose twitched and he started crawling over you.
"Oi! What the f—" you started, fully prepared to hit him, but then face-palmed when you saw him take the box of chocolates from your bag beside you. "Nutty! Get off me, you idiot!" You huffed, shoving him off you so he landed with a thud on the floor. You weren't concerned for his well-being seeing he was too busy admiring the box with a loving expression. This was rather odd, however, since normally he'd just shove the sweets down his throat without a second thought.
He shrieked excitedly, startling you once again. "Eeeee!! Where did you get these?! These are, like, the highest quality chocolates ever! Do you know how expensive they are?!"
"Some secret admirer dropped 'em at my doorstep," you said, lazily opening one eye to glance at the box, "how much do they cost, anyway?"
"500 dollars!" he exclaimed. You shot up into a sitting position.
"That much! What?! I'm not you—I don't need expensive candy! Aww man, if this guy wanted to declare his love for me, why didn't he just buy me a new laptop or something?" you whined in dismay, especially since Nutty just scarfed down half of the chocolates in one go. You sighed. "Well? How do they taste?"
When he didn't respond, you looked down and found him lying on the ground. He stared up at the ceiling, his eyes glazed over as a thin line of drool ran down his chin. His blissed out expression could only indicate that he was in Heaven right now. Well, damn, if the chocolates were that good, you'd have to try one, you thought, reaching out to grab one.
Just like that, Nutty was out of his sugar coma. He recovered with inhuman speed and smacked your hand away, growling at you.
"You do realize those are mine, right?"
"No! These are the chocolates you're giving me because you stole my candy earlier," he argued desperately, and you realized with slight annoyance that he had a point. You had stolen his candy first...
Nutty simply twitched and sat there holding the box as if it were made of glass. Apparently he was choosing to save half for later. "I wonder who gave this to you, though. Who could possibly like you?" he asked as he scratched his head while you pretended not to appear too offended. "Hm, I suppose everyone likes you," he muttered and your face warmed a little at his statement.
"Err...Why do you say that?" you asked, turning away so he couldn't see your embarrassed expression.
He hummed in thought, mentally coming up with a list. "Well, I suppose most people may find you attractive. Oh, you're nice occasionally and you're loyal...You also don't hesitate to hurt anyone who hurts your friends, which is admirable, I guess? Now that I think of it, you're lacking good qualities." he finally said. You grimaced a bit at his last points, but didn't argue since he wasn't wrong. You 'accidentally' killed Truffles once after he called Lammy a psycho for having a pickle as a best friend, though you loathed to admit that he wasn't entirely wrong. She did appear to have some common signs of schizophrenia, but that was a concern for another day.
"Well, I'm dying to find out who this guy is. What do you say, Nutty? Wanna help me figure out who it was? I'll give you some choco in exchange." you said, for you knew he couldn't refuse such a tempting offer.
"Deal! We're going to figure out who did this. And then we'll use him to buy even more chocolates!" he said and giggled madly at the idea. It was settled with a handshake.
It's too bad neither of you noticed the secret admirer glaring at the two of you from behind the window.
