You, being your dumb self, decided to take your newly found freedom to leave the basement—not the house. Perhaps it wasn't that stupid of an idea, though. You had flirted with the idea of escaping Splendid's house, but you didn't have a good plan and you weren't going to put your friends' lives at risk again. It was bad enough that they were all beat up because of you, and you didn't want to put them in even more danger by making reckless decisions. Besides, you couldn't leave either way; you made a deal with Splendid and neither of you would break it. You stood up from the chair and stretched your tired muscles before you ventured up the basement stairs. You laughed in triumph as you reached for the doorknob and turned it. This man probably thought he was sooo smart—
You gasped. "That fucker! He actually locked it!" you screeched. You strung your hands in your hair in an aggravated manner before a slew of profanities left your mouth. You knew Splendid had super hearing and you actually hoped he was listening to you right now. It went on like this for a while. "Why won't you open—!" you screamed as you bashed your fists against the door, mindlessly pounding it until you decided to kick it harshly. Your legs must have been stronger than your arms because the door was now hanging wide open by its hinges. You heard the lock clattering onto the floor and you cheered.
"Nice~" you giggled, beaming with pride. Your eyes locked onto the front door, but instead of heading for it, you waltzed into the kitchen to find the fridge instead.
...You were starving, okay.
Your eyes lit up when you realized the fridge was lined up with many snacks you liked. Not only that, Splendid baked many of your favorite desserts and the sight of it had your heart skipping a beat. When you'd first moved to this town, you sucked at cooking, so Splendid used to bake you desserts each week. He was spectacular at it, but he'd also burnt food countless times due to constantly needing to rush out for "important journalism work," which you later learned was code for saving people who required help. You were pretty sure his house had caught fire because of that once.
"That was sweet of him. I guess staying here won't be as horrible if he's the one cooking," you admitted quietly, taking a large bite out of one of the cookies. Oh man, you nearly moaned at the wonderful taste and then slapped a hand over your mouth because Splendid could've been listening to you right now with his powers. 'How were these so good? Did he put drugs in these cookies?!' you wondered as the rich chocolaty flavor filled your mouth.
You gathered an armful of snacks and headed back to the living room, finally observing his place. When you were here the other week, you weren't too focused on the place because you were too busy admiring his face and his table. Now, you could really see it; everything was in different hues of blue and quite tidy. You tried to use his fancy table to contact the heroes of the SSSSSuper Squad, but it couldn't be activated without his fingerprint. You sighed. There goes that plan.
This situation was awful, but really, it could've been worse. Imagine if your stalker was someone like Disco Bear instead. You shuddered at the thought. You sat down on the couch and pondered aloud. "Splendid's attractive, kind, and he can clean, and is a good cook." You listed his good traits before stuffing another cookie in your face. "That's marriage material right there...if you ignore the fact that he's a possessive sociopath," you muttered, now lying down on your back. "Then again, I suppose some people find that attractive."

An hour later, Splendid arrived at his front door and dug through his pockets to find his keys. He'd just killed everyone except for Cubs who he'd just cooked breakfast for. That poor child went unsupervised on the daily...but he also survived more when he was alone, so Splendid just left Cubs with tons of snacks in front of a TV that played cartoons non-stop. Anyway, everyone would reincarnate soon, which was beneficial to Splendid because it meant he no longer had to worry about feeding anybody. Cro-Marmot in particular would've been a puzzle to feed since he was perpetually stuck in that strange ice block of his...
