SHE KNOWS ~ CHAPTER ONE
tammy and cassidy trod carefully through the woods, being mindful of the amount of noise they make, due to the risk of walkers. they couldnt risk an attack, they were defenceless, their lack of weapons didn't help either, all they had was one can opener, and they had used that for the can of beans they had shared the previous night. to tammy's knowledge, you couldn't really do any damage with a can opener, if not anything.
tammy had remembered a camping trip they had when they were younger as a family. she had remembered the spot, and she had remembered that it had a quarry, perfect place to collect some drinking water and maybe even sleep for the night.
"how much further?" cassidy whispers, tugging at her older sisters sleeve. tammy glanced down at her and answered, " we're only a few minutes away now, we've passed the hard part. " earning a nod and sigh in return. tammy felt terrible making her sister walk this far but it had to be done, and her sister wasn't a baby, she was thirteen years old, and mature, she was doing this FOR her sister.
that's when it happened.
