11 - Us and the nightmares

"If I were you I wouldn't risk it." I heard the familiar sound. It's Ereb the SOB. ohh no! Not my soulmate SOB but a normal one.

"None of your business my darkness" I giggled at the name I just made. I mean come on it sounds so much similar to his name shadow and I was drunk.

"Get down Thea" He said in a commanding voice.

"I am sorry for my tone but does it look like I am waiting for your fucking permission." I am pissed now.

"Leave me alone rebus sic stantibus" I laughed out loud at this legal term from International Law. I literally had to sit up because I couldn't breathe from giggling. I mean how did I not realize the name connection.

Drunk me was smart as fuck. Well when I tried to sit I went off balance because I forgot one of my leg was dangling in space. I felt someone grab my waist and pulled me down. I looked at him for the first time since he got on the terrace. Well He was wearing a white t-shirt which was soaked in rain and I can see his body underneath. Then I realized he could see mine and shrieked. Thank god I was wearing a lavender shirt and shorts.

His body was too close to my body for comfort.The rain was pouring hard when I looked at his grey eyes grazing to mine. The tension rose between us rapidly when the thunderstorm and lightning started. Me looking at his eyes gave a flashing episode of my dream. My heart and head dazed probably from the alcohol. I put my head on his chest as it was hurting. He loosely kept his hand behind my back.

It was weirdly comforting for me. Hear standing in the rain and thunder hugging a guy I barely knew.

"Let's go down. Both of us will catch a bad cold if we remain here" He mumbled slowly but enough for me to hear.

"Why did you come upstairs?" I questioned him looking up at him and also to slow down the tension which was arising .

"For you." Ladies and gentlemen my heart melted with these two words. The blood rushed to my cheeks and I was sure I was blushing but I don't think he noticed. The thunderstorm and lightning got intense bringing me out of the daze

"I should say sorry to your girlfriend for disrupting. Where is she?" I again tried to kill the moment when I should crush my lips onto him. I mean imagine he has a girlfriend and I made him cheat. No thanks.

"She isn't here and yes she ain't my girlfriend" He softly spoke. This gentleman is not helping me in this situation.

His hand stroked my hair back from my face, his fingers pushing the idle strands and for a moment I looked at him and could feel both of us wanting to kiss. I now want to feel his lips against mine.The butterflies in my stomach were swirling so much and on top of that I was drunk.

And he did just that. Slowly lowering his head towards my lip gives me enough time and space to turn my head. Hell, I wanted to kiss him too.

So I stood there and waited for his lips to crash when his lips passed through my cheeks to the ear" You are drunk,We should head down. Or else we will die in this cold." He whispered against my ears.

I looked him in the eyes and spoke slowly "Yes. we should."

I was shivering like a puppy for the three flights of stairs and behind me Ereb was following behind me. I got in front of my door and realized that I forgot my keys and locked myself out of the apartment. Nice. I didn't bought my phone and I have no idea if the security office downstairs will be open or not. I looked back and saw Ereb still looking my way.

"Mmm what's wrong? Is everything okay?" Ereb asked.

"I locked myself out. I have to go downstairs to grab the extra pair of keys" I angrily seethed. Way to ruin a day several times.
