Happiness. It was a rare sight to see in this palace. As I strolled in the hallway there was nothing but snow and dark forest behind it. Unlike ours it really does not have any garden nor does it have nothing to represent positive things. Everyone is busy with the festival.

Decorating the dark festival with something which wasn't there. Love. This kingdom feels so dark and gloomy unlike the snow. I felt like I was strained to a cage. I slowly walked down the stairs to the enchanted forest which is misted by fog. The red gown with a silver crown pressed in my head is for today's night. As today I will be formally introduced to the Kingdom of Velora as their Crown princess.

I walked barefoot in the fresh trimmed grass covered in a long pine tree dragging my gown as I walked. I heard footsteps approaching and turned back.

"You must not roam alone, your highness. You never know what happens in this castle." I turned around startled. A tall guy with a curious face and good looking I must say was standing there. His blue eyes have a mesmerizing feel like he can hypnotize people easily. He had beautiful shoulder length hair and a defined body.

"Who are you?" I anxiously muttered. He was wearing a red long robe indicating he must be a commander in the military.

" Ohh I guess we weren't introduced. I am Lieutenant General Samael Achilles" he smiled generously.

"So you are Alexander's big brother" What a twist that he has a big brother who holds position beneath him. Alexander is the General of the Army.

"Ohh so you know me after all. Must say I am flattered." He sarcastically replied. " I heard a lot about you, Princess Athena."

"Her royal highness, princess of Velora" A commanding voice interrupted Samael's speech and none of us had to look to know who he was.

"Come on brother. I am not a stranger to you. Do I have to be a formal sister in law" He turned with a sarcastic smile on his face.

" Just call me Athena. I don't mind the formalities. " I sharply stated to Samael. I watched Alexander as he walked towards us. He was wearing a black robe and a uniform underneath that.

Samael looked amused at the conflict between me and Alexander and smirked "See we are families."

"If you want to be family you shouldn't have attacked us in the forest"

I turned to look at Samael horrified. Several Guards came from all around us circling us in a captive position.

"Wow, you are quick aren't you, brother" The thirst of him being evil was evident. He sheathed out a large sword from the scabbard and went behind me resting it in my neck.

I rolled my eyes and did what I was trained for. I kicked on his knee cap making sure to dodge his hand the opposite way to not touch my neck. I turned back and kicked on his balls. I bent down and spoke.

"Now don't underestimate a princess. Will you?" I proudly said

with a smirk. I turned to Alexander and started walking to him when I felt a sword invading through my stomach. I looked down to see the edge of the sword and fell to my knees.

I heard Samael's painful whisper behind my ear "Now never turn back on your enemy, Princess."
