6장: THE DISTANCE BETWEEN US IS TOO BIG

3 months later, after what Rezyl said to Zylan, they have been distant lately. Not talking to each other, just exchanging glances and none other more. Rigt now, Rezyl is sitting on a school bench alone, still thinking about what happened 3 months ago. Oh Jina, her bestfriend, saw her looking up to the sky, thinking about some stuff. She's worried about her these past few months because she suddenly just spaced out many times now...

Oh Jina: Yahh, Rezyl.

Kim Rezyl: .........

Jina was pissed when Rezyl didn't answer her. Jina flicked her forehead as Rezyl winced in pain.

Kim Rezyl: Yah, Jina! WHAT WAS THAT FOR?!!

Oh Jina: It's because you were spacing out again. What's with you these days?

Kim Rezyl: Well........

Oh Jina: *Sigh, it's okay if you don't wanna talk about it, just don't space out like that again. You look hideous. Someone might flick your forehead again. It might be even more painful than mine.

Kim Rezyl: Yeah, sure, whatever. Let's just go.

Zylan was assigned to clean the classroom, so he was alone. But similar to Rezyl, he also spaces out sometimes mopping the floor, spacing out. A voice interupted him, though.

So Youngchul: Yah, Zylan. When you clean, just clean. Don't space out, would ya?

So Youngchul, Zylan's best friend-which whom he developed to be his friend 2 months ago-snapped him out of his thoughts.

Choi Zylan: What are you doing here?

So Youngchul: Well, I was just passing by, 'til I saw you.

Choi Zylan: Passing by? Everyone went home, seems kinda sus, y'know?

So Youngchul: Well, sometimes I do my homework here , so yeah, I stayed for a while.

Choi Zylan: Really? now?

So Youngchul: Do you need help?

Choi Zylan: No, I got this, plus I'm almost done.

So Youngchul: I wasn't talking about cleaning, I was talking about your "spacing out times" HAHAHA

Choi Zylan: Why you!!

So Youngchul: Alright,alright, stop! HAHAHAHA

Choi Zylan: *Sigh, you must have a great time right now, huh. How could you do that to me?

So Youngchul: Ohh, Just shut the drama. Here, let me help you with that.

Choi Zylan: Thanks

*One Month Later*

It was Lim Areum's birthday. She is a friend of Rezyl and Zylan, so being a kind friend, she invited them. Han Byeol, Min Yuri, Oh Jina, and many more-even she invited So Youngchul who she doesn't even know yet-came to her birthday party.

Rezyl came with Jina because she doesn't want to be alone when she gets there. They went inside and WOW.... Just WOW. Her house was HUGE. It was like 2-modern-houses HUGE. Damn, the girl was really rich.

Areum saw them and went towards their direction. Rezyl and Jina saw the birthday girl and pulled her into a tight hug. Jina knew Areum because Areum said 'Any friend of Rezyl is a friend of mine'

Kim Rezyl: Happy birthday Areum!

Oh Jina: Yeah, Happy birthday!

Lim Areum: Oh my gosh, thank you guys! I feel like I'm crying right now.

Kim Rezyl: Oh, just stop the drama

Rezyl and Jina gave Areum their gift to her. She happily accepted her gifts and she was even more happy to see her other friends. Han Byeol and Min Yuri.

Han Byeol: Happy birthday Areum!

Lim Areum: Thanks Byeol!

Min Yuri: AREUM!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!

Lim Areum: Thanks Yuri!

Min Yuri: *Sigh, You're 17 now. I can't believe you're getting old now...

Yuri acted by being dramatic at her sentence. Of course, Areum just laugh because she knew she was only joking. Byeol, On the other hand, smacked Yuri said and whined, saying she's only joking. All of them laugh at her childishness...

They parted with each other, doing what they wanna do at the party. Zylan and Youngchul then appeared at her door, earning a big thanks from Areum for coming to her party. Zylan smiled at her amd walked away with Youngchul.

Looking at his surrounding he saw Areum taking gifts from people, he saw Youngchul suddenly going towards his friends but he said he'll be back, he saw Byeol with Changmin, talking and laughing, he saw Yuri innocently smiling to a guy who is also innocently smiling. 'Will she be okay? She's rather, umm, careless. 'Zylan thought. 'Well, I'll just check on her for a minute. '

Choi Zylan: Hey, Yuri!

Min Yuri: Hey, Zylan! What's up?

Choi Zylan: It's been a while since we've talked. How have you been?

Min Yuri: I'm fine, thanks. Oh, I forgot. This is Seo Jae-yi. He's the one i told you about that helped me when I fell down the stairs 2 months ago.

Choi Zylan: Ah, yes, when you were being careless at the stairs.

Min Yuri: Hey, that hurts! anyway, Jae-yi, this is my friend Choi Zylan.

Seo Jae-yi: Nice to meet you!

Choi Zylan: Nice to meet you, too! Well, that I know Yuri is not-being-so-careless, I shall take my leave now.

Min Yuri: Alright, see ya! What did he mean about being careless? I'm not careless!

Seo Jae-yi: So when you fell down the stairs, it was on purpose.

Min Yuri: Alright, Alright. I admit, I am careless, hmmmph...

Yuri was so pouting and blushing as she was being teased by Jae-yi. 'How cute' he thought. Jae-yi patted Yuri's head, saying....

Seo Jae-yi: Alright, Don't be too careless, okay?

Min Yuri: Okay

Yuri said, looking down, because she was embarassed and blushing. Then, Areum called for her, excusing from Jae-yi, he said yes. Yuri asked...

Min Yuri: What is it?

Lim Areum: Let's play a game.

Yuri/Byeol/Rezyl/Zylan: A game?

Lim Areum: Mmm, Let's play truth or dare..
