"Are we really leaving the other luggage? Someone could take them, you know." Hirugami anxiously said as he caught up with Hoshiumi. He took a quick glance over his shoulder at the car and looked at Hirugami.

"Relax. We have no other choice. It's not like we can take all of them." Hoshiumi said and reached out his arms to Hirugami. Hirugami stood in front of him for a while, blinking at Hoshiumi and his hands in a minute of silence. Before he realized what he meant, he flushed his cheeks with a tinge of pink.

"Seriously, you're being weird tonight," Hoshiumi said under his breath. He let out a small gasp when he realized he said it. Thankfully, Hirugami was so distracted that he didn't hear it. If he did, it might get worse.

"Sorry." Hirugami hummed, giving the other luggage to Hoshiumi. They were holding one each. Hoshiumi took a deep breath and looked straight ahead and started walking. "We have to hurry, or it's going to be late."

Hirugami picked up the pace when Hoshiumi started walking faster but he didn't complain about it. They were silent as they walked, not sure who would break the silence.

However, it was obvious it would be Hoshiumi.

With his peripheral vision, Hoshiumi checked on Hirugami. His eyes sank on the floor, looking at the road like it was the most fascinating road in the universe. But it could also be like when someone was too shy on the first day of school. Hoshiumi didn't know which it was.

The wind blew a cold breeze, making Hoshiumi shudder as some of the leaves from the trees flew to his face. His face was probably burned by it, but then again Hirugami stayed silent. He didn't even seem to notice it. Hoshiumi waited for another sixty seconds, hesitating. Then he let out another sigh, loud enough to make Hirugami's attention into him.

"So...would you mind telling me what you're mumbling about earlier? Because I'm not used to this silence—and you're scaring me—I mean you're not scaring me but—" Hoshiumi despised himself saying things he wasn't supposed to, but he couldn't form the words right. He wanted to at least listen to Hirugami, but he was the one making it worse. If only he could hide somewhere in the trees. Hoshiumi wished the ground would swallow himself and his dignity. "You're not like that, are you?"

Hirugami's eyes were still on the ground, but he couldn't hide the smile forming on his lips. A giggle escaped after. He thought Hoshiumi's struggle was funny, but he felt solace when he knew he had someone to talk to.

Though he still hesitated. His fingers run through the luggage's lock, circling it over and over again. Hoshiumi was silent too. He was still glued on Hirugami, wishing he didn't—because he was already humiliated, but he couldn't keep himself from turning away. He was interested, and as they neared the hotel, his mind twisted and a thought overflowed Hoshiumi's mind. A question—a better one.

"Why did you go on a vacation?" Hoshiumi was surprised it sounded steady, but he thought that it wasn't the right words. He wanted Hirugami's attention fully onto him—not on the ground nor the luggage—but Hoshiumi. He was shocked that he feels this way.

What the hell?

Finally, after what felt like a decade, Hirugami looked up—looked down, on the smaller one. Hoshiumi was looking at his palms, thinking of a better way to ask that question. He put his hands near Hirugami's face, making him flinch, stopping him before he answered.

"Wait, let me rephrase that." Hoshiumi looked at him, straight into his eyes. He didn't know this conversation would be serious, but Hirugami's suddenly quiet but scary presence made Hoshiumi tense up. "Why did you come here? I mean, you're obviously going here for the whole summer vacation—but for what purpose?"
