Two weeks had passed since Hirugami almost hit Hoshiumi with his car at the seaside. They had gotten so close Hoshiumi would never think they'd be separated. Especially since Hirugami always stuck with him, though at some times, he would ask Hoshiumi if it would be okay to spend time by himself.

Hirugami practiced a lot of memorizing the place. And after that night, Hirugami agreed to move into Hoshiumi's house, in the vacant room next to him. Apparently, it was his brother's room. But he was living in Tokyo with his dad so Hirugami occupied the space.

They always eat dinner together. Hoshiumi's mom's teasing didn't get scarcer. Every time she talked about Hirugami, Hoshiumi would burst out and get embarrassed—then his mom would tease Hoshiumi about it for the rest of the night.

Hirugami never had everyday happiness full of laughter in his whole life. Stress and problems weren't found in that town. Added by Hoshiumi, he was more contented than anybody else in the village.

Mr. Fukuzawa would ask the two to help him on his farm too, they added more barriers in the pen so the pigs won't have an escape rampage again. Hirugami was good at calming the animals as expected—they liked him, though Hoshiumi would stay distant because they might hate him.

The other neighbors always welcomed Hirugami with a smile. He was closer with them, and they even had dinner parties at Hamada's house. The villagers treated each other as families, living happy lives, not caring about flaws and mistakes. Nobody's perfect. And Hirugami was close to understanding that.

That village was a family. It's their home.

And ever since that happened, Hoshiumi never thought of Hirugami as nothing but a client—a tourist, ever again.

"Make sure you take breaks when you're tired!" Hoshiumi's mom's high-pitched tone as Hoshiumi's resonated in the whole house, rushing to the two by the front door with a backpack full of snacks in her hand.

"Mom, it's fine. We're just spending the night at the summit then we'll come home tomorrow morning." Hoshiumi said, but his mom insisted. He could hear Hirugami snickering in the background so he glared at him.

Hoshiumi won't take the bag so she gave it to Hirugami instead. After all, they treated Hirugami as their family all this time.

"Make sure you stay safe okay? And Sachirou, take care of my son alright? He can be quite a troublemaker." She flashed her trademark smirk and winked at Hirugami. He nodded and responded with a smile.

Hoshiumi looked at them back and forth. At this point, he wasn't sure if he's the son or Hirugami.

"Hey, I'm not a troublemaker!" Hoshiumi protested but Hirugami turned him around, laughing. They were arguing as they passed by their neighbors.

"Oi, Kourai, Hirugami!" Naomi's voice could be heard from the neighboring island. She waved at the two, giving Hoshiumi a sarcastic stare when her eyes ventured on Hirugami's hands on his shoulders.

"You're going to the Summer Night Festival aren't you? Make sure you don't get caught up with your tours and forget it okay?" She yelled and nodded at both of them. She looked at Hirugami and their eyes met, but she grinned at him and turned around, imitating how he rested his hands on Hoshiumi's shoulders.

Hirugami flushed strawberry red. "I forgot. That was four days away right?" He asked Hoshiumi as they walked away.

"Yeah, and we're going to hike that mountain where it will be held." He pointed at the mountain near them.

"But that mountain was the one with the cliffside road, right?" Hirugami asked, looking at its structure. It was higher than any mountains connected to it, and it made the hill where the hotel is an anthill.
