"Are you serious?" Hoshiumi said under his breath as he competed with the male in a stare-down contest. He was as petrified as him. The moon started to shine above them, the clouds tore apart to pave the light as it shone. But Hoshiumi could see—even from afar how the guy formed a smile and walked towards Hoshiumi, not ending the call.

Hoshiumi still couldn't believe it. Frowning, he faced the chocolate-haired boy now in front of him.

"I didn't see this coming." The man chuckled. Hoshiumi couldn't think of anything to say. Even thinking became hard for him and it seems like he was paralyzed, and his brain stopped working.

Hoshiumi shrugged, "Neither do I."

Deep inside, Hoshiumi was relieved that it saved him from having a hard time reaching his client tomorrow again, or coming up with excuses about how he was late for his vacation job with his first tourist when he couldn't even remember what happened before that.

"I assume you're Hoshiumi-san?" His client snapped him back to reality when his deep but soothing voice said his name. Hoshiumi didn't even realize he gave his name when he introduced himself to the male about having him as a tour guide before.

Hoshiumi ended the call when his hands got tired. "Just call me Kourai, I'm not really into formal conversations or honorifics and stuff."

"My name's Hirugami Sachirou, well you can call me anything you want." Hirugami flushed as he said that. "Nice to meet you, Kourai."

"Me too," said Hoshiumi.

A minute of silence passed after that. Hirugami just smiled at Hoshiumi when he studied Hirugami's entire appearance, and it seemed like he was looking through his soul with his eyebrow raised. But then he blushed when he realized he was staring at his client.

"Is there something wrong, Kourai?" Hirugami asked, leaning closer which made Hoshiumi step backward, hiding his face that was probably on fire. Somehow, he shivered when Hirugami said his name, even if it was his choice to say his first name. But he couldn't stop thinking about how he allowed his client to call him by that even though they obviously had different status given by Hirugami's presence. Not to mention, he almost hit Hoshiumi.

Hoshiumi felt awkward but he managed to maintain his posture, distancing himself from Hirugami further. "Y...Yeah—I mean no.." He wanted to punch himself in the face when he stuttered, and he sounded more shy than ever. "You don't look like what I expected you to be." He pointed at Hirugami's physical features.

A chuckle left Hirugami. "Oh really? Then what do you expect me to look like?"

Hoshiumi barely flinched when the lamp posts on the sidewalk lit up automatically. It was already night, though he could still see the sun across the sea, hiding from Hoshiumi and Hirugami.

Hoshiumi cleared his throat, ignoring the beautiful sunset he always sees. "I was expecting someone like a middle-aged man that looks like he came from retirement but isn't married. Basically someone not like you." Hoshiumi slipped and thought that the last sentence might offend Hirugami, thinking that he'd sound like he didn't want him to be his client. He became more nervous when Hirugami's eyebrow creased. "I'm sorry! I didn't mean it that way! I—"

The sidewalk was filled with Hirugami's laughter before Hoshiumi could even say a word. Hoshiumi was startled by it, but he was more relieved than ever. But he didn't say anything and just stared at Hirugami, who was brushing his hair with the wind and touching his face.

"You're really funny," Hirugami said, letting out his last laugh. "Though that's what I expect you would look like too." He looked at Hoshiumi, and it clicked that Hoshiumi looked the same age.
