It took some time for Julianne Stark to adapt herself to her life. Perhaps it was because of the abrupt change. Well, it's not exactly easy, going from being held captive to living a normal life again.

There were times she almost forgot what happened to her as a teenager. But then, nighttime would come and the nightmares wouldn't leave her alone. Reminiscing those moments gave her more anxiety than she already had.

It was bad to the point where Tony installed an anti-axiety program in J.A.R.V.I.S. for Julianne. Basically: pillows, strawberry juice, brownies and 80's music. Julianne liked it, it calmed her instantly.

She also went back to school. She passed her exams with impressive scores, especially for someone who didn't go to school for a long time. The exam marker wondered if she had cheated but the supervisor affirmed she hadn't.

Oh well, what did they expect? She was a Stark.

Julianne was admitted in NYU and she was following the electrical engineering course. She could have moved in the campus, or just lived nearby in New York, but she stayed in Stark's Mansion in Malibu. She wasn't in a state to live alone yet.

So, every day, one of her dad's suits would take her to school. It was an incredibly fast way of traveling. However, she did not exactly enjoy unwanted attention, so she did land meters and meters away from school.

It wasn't like people did not know she was Pepper Potts and Tony Stark's daughter. Hell, the whole world knew at that point. But nobody likes the impressed yet nasty and jealous looks students give early in the morning whenever an iron suit would take you to school from the other side of the country.

Julianne still managed to make some friends her age, who thankfully did not make of her parentage that big of a deal. They weren't intrusive, and made her comfortable which she was grateful for.

What else. Oh, she was beyond happy to be able to spend time with her parents. They had Friday nights reserved for games, they would invite James and Happy but the latter would make excuses not to go, and it would be the Potts women against the Iron besties.

Everything seemed to go for the better. Yet, something did not feel right.

The young Stark didn't notice at first. But there were things she couldn't remember. Of course, it's not uncommon at all to forget moments from childhood, infantile amnesia happens go everybody.

But then it was mentioned by her parents that it was funny how her powers matched her previous hobbies. Ah? Turns out, Julianne used to be pretty good at ice-skating.
