WHEN AVERY JACKSON plays a game of "Trust Fall" with her friend, her brother's rival she hadn't even met caught her when her friend stepped aside. And that rival is James Potter. Since then, Avery tried to avoid him, mainly for her brother's sake, but it's too hard when the Potter boy just won't leave her alone.

── to explain the brother-james-rivalry: avery's brother's the slytherin quidditch captain, and since first year, he and james have literally hated each other, especially now considering they're both captains.

── james doesn't like lily, and lily doesn't like james. so no unnecessary drama please!

── avery's a ravenclaw, but she only got put in that house for her creativity and wit, she's not the wisest nor the smartest; other than that, she would've probably been sorted into hufflepuff.

── james follows her around like a lost puppy ever since he caught her, (it's cute lmao) but she tries to push him away because she's too loyal to her brother. and the more he follows her, talks to her, let alone be with her, the more she falls in love with him and the more scared she gets

── her brother does notice, but he doesn't say or do anything because when he sees avery with james, she looks the happiest he had seen her in a long time; and that's all he cares about despite his hatred towards james.

── avery tells james continuously that she can't be with him, but one day she snaps because she doesn't want to let down her brother, and she's too selfless to care about what she wants, which is one of the things james tells her before she ran off. her brother had seen the whole thing.

── avery's brother (very reluctantly, but he knew he had to) ended up talking to both of them. he told avery that she could be with whoever she likes, even if he didn't like him, as long as he makes her happy. and he told james that he saw it in avery's eyes that she loves him, and that he talked to her; basically avery's brother gave them his blessing lmao. but he also gave james that protective brother talk lol

── they get together after all that and get married a little bit after they graduate
