TW sexual assault, allusion to rape
____________
4 Days Later
Marcus POV

We stood in what would be the living room but it's been converted into a showroom of sorts. The lights are low and there is a sofa in the middle. On the sofa are three men, they look me and the children up and down as we 'present' ourselves.

Us older kids stand slightly infront of the younger ones trying to draw there attention away by making ourselves seem much younger and slightly more willing. But only slightly, it's only fun for them when it's illegal. Especially for two of the three men infront of us. They're regulars who usually go for the young ones.

I can't believe they allowed Clyde to come back here after what he did to-

I could feel the new boy, Deklan, trembling behind me. I made sure to hide him from Clyde's view. The boy was just his type apparently and I've seen what he does to whoever he chooses. This boy had just gotten here a few days ago, meant to take over the little blonde boy role after what happened.

It was just supposed to be another day in hell.

I snapped out of my daze and realized two of the men had already picked someone, Jack silently walked down the hallway with another frequent customer, Vincent, and the third man, a new guy, had chosen Eliza.

Now all that was left is him.

How could he do that to a kid? How could they let him? How could they just cover it up? How could they? I felt my fist clench in poorly concealed fury and I know he saw it from the way he smirked at me.

He stood up pointed at me and then walked down to the opposite side of the hallway. The Stewart's dismissed the others as they always do when the last customer picks and Rachel lead them back down to the basement. I followed Clyde down a hall that leads to the furthest room back. It's hard to hear anything that goes on in this room from the front or the basement. It's why I was too late.

I walked in the room and stopped by the door. I didn't want to go in, how could he just walk in like nothing happened here. Does he know what he did? He has to know. He was cold by the time I found him. That meant this sick bastard was here for a long time after. The tears on his face had dried leaving marks, he didn't even wipe the tears away. He didn't care. He doesn't care.

"-ey! The hell's the matter with you boy shut the door" I could hear again and I saw him standing by the bed facing me. I walked in and closed the door all while glaring at him. He was a white man, short, not much taller than me which is saying something since I've been malnourished since I was 9.

He chuckled, "Hoo-hoo what's wit you? You mad at me for something baby."
"Don't"
"What's that now?"
"Don't call me baby"

He scoffed then crossed the room in two steps and SMACK!

My head snapped to the right and I stumbled a bit before he caught me by the collar. Then he put his arm around me and pulled me against him, "I'll call you whatever I want to baby. When we in here you mine you hear me? Huh? I asked you a question damnit."

Before I could say anything back he threw me to the ground in the corner and got on top of me. "I'll teach your beaner ass some manners damnit."

He wrapped his hands around my neck and squeezed. Is this what happened before? Is this what he did to you bub? Is this why your neck was bruised, why there was no blood but still a body? Is this how he murdered you then used you. Left you here and told nobody like he did nothing wrong.

I began to panic as I couldn't breathe. My hands tried to grab at anything and my legs kicked out, that's when I felt something rough on the otherwise smooth walls. My feet finally connected with him and he went tumbling off me. I quickly looked at what I had touched and saw scratch marks.

This is it.

This is what he did.

I promise he won't get away with it bub.

And he'll never do it again.

Evan.
