We've been working this case for four days. The most critical time for a child to be found after abduction has come and gone. We've figured out now that they're unsubS not an unsub.
They are a dominant-submissive pairing. It explains how the child was taken after being startled awake by their parents murder. 

We found a body.

Two days ago.

Dumpsite: the forest about 100 feet away from a not well used trail.

We searched the area but found no more. The body we found was not Deklan. He was a young boy who we managed to identify as Evan Daniels, abducted when he was nine missing for 2 years.

The M.E. was able to estimate the time of death was 18 days ago, 2 weeks before Deklan was abducted. The M.E. also said Evan was strangled to death and raped post-mortem.

Things we noticed immediately: Evan Daniels matches Deklan Mitchell's description almost to a T. Young, white, blonde, male also Deklan is the same age now that Evan was when he was abducted.

The abductions date back 12 years, the first victims were the Monroe family. They were a slightly different victimology than the other families as they had deep ties to their community and were known to be missing very soon after their deaths, even now they haven't pronounced the child abducted, Marcus, as dead yet. Just missing.

The stressor lies with them.
