Chapter Five: Escaping?
Thirty minutes passed before Nicole realized every bone and organs was gone, and the doctor had already passed a minutes ago. Did she over do it? Nicole shook her head and grinned. No... She told herself inside her head, I was just having fun right? Nicole couldn't hold back the fit of laughter no more. She yanked her mouth open, tearing her skin open in the process. A laugh more darker then the doctors rolled on the thick air. Nicole never once felt this burning instruction in her chest, but it felt good. No not good, it pleasures her fully. Nicole slowly licked the blood off her hand, enmiring the metal tasting liquid. She was now crazy, insane, and any other horrid names the world had to throw at her. Nicole stood from the ground, slightly sad that all her fun disappeared. She didn't know what to do, the room was dark, but yet she saw parts of the ground and wall. Finally, out of no where a flashing red light illuminated the room fully. Nicole's eyes widen at the loud alarm.

" There's a intruder! A Victim is trying to escape!" Nicole heard a voice coming from a sealed door. So there was more mad doctors like this one? Nicole grinned, but hesitated to move. There was no where to hide, the room was just a cube room with nothing but the metal table and a knife counter. That's when Nicole had an idea. She started yanking the cloths off the doctor until he was just in his boxers. Even though the cloths was socked in blood and the inside shirt was ripped, Nicole still slipped them on. She dragged the doctor to the metal table and tapped him their, acting like she was still ripping things out of his stomach. Her hair was now short like the doctors since she cut it.

" You? Dr. Band!? Have you saw any victims escaping?" The single person asked after shoving the door open. Nicole shook her head and continued shoving things in the doctors stomach." Oh..." The person looked at the doctor laying on the table and smirked," I'll come back later when your done having fun." Nicole heard the door close and glanced around for an escape. She spotted an air vent above the table and grinned. Stupid humans. Nicole grabbed two spar knifes and slid them in her new boots. She jumped on the table and slowly took off the cover and placed it in side. Nicole didn't know how to climb, but she did. Once she was in, she moved the cover back on. She didn't want no one to know she was missing right? Nicole began crawling down the thin passage way threw the vent. No air was coming through, so that made her assume they didn't use the vents.

A few minute passed when she spotted another opening, but this time the cover was off, as if someone just jumped through. Nicole glanced down and saw two adults laying on the ground, dead. She jumped down, grunting at the pain in her feet and stomach. Grabbing her stomach, Nicole limped to the two adult doctors. They was wearing something like the other doctor. She kneeled down and took out her spar knife. Cutting a long strip of cloths, Nicole raised her shirt and wrapped it around her stomach to at least make the bleeding stop.

" AHHHHH!" Nicole flinched at the horrid scream coming in the hallway. She ran to the burly open door and peeked out. What was out side horrid her slightly. Their was other doctors scattered across the floor with cut throats and blown up heads. Blood was splattered everywhere on the floor and walls, some even got on the ceiling. Was she meant to be scared? Nicole gridded her teeth and continued leaving the room and walking past the dead bodies. At the end of the hallway was a big exit that was surprisingly wide open. Nicole approached the exit carefully. Whatever killed most of the doctors couldn't be human. Nicole stood in front of the exit now, staring out into the open woods . She was... Free? Nicole kept a strong face. She wasn't free yet.. That's when she heard a dark growl, ones that you'd hear on a loin. Nicole turned around slowly, her eyes widen. There was a monster in front of her. It had a loin shape body but it's fur was pure black, claws was extremely sharp, its tail had spikes on it, it's flesh was half way torn with bullet holes, and it's face was like a dogs but cut to three pieces. Nicole couldn't move. What was this she was feeling? Was it good, or bad? With out the lion growling or stepping closer, Nicole turned sharply and dashed off. It was fear... Fear of what? Dyeing? Why would she fear that? Nicole stopped after entering the woods in front of the place she left and turned around. A glare was shot at the lion beast as it growls and runs towards Nicole as fast as it could. Nicole grinned, an insane grin. She wasn't going to die because of some beast. The lion dashed at her by pushing itself off the ground, but Nicole had a plan. She ducked down and rolled under the lion and jumped to her feet. She grabbed out a knife and got ready for another attack. The lion landed and turned around, it's noise was cinched in anger and its teeth was razor sharp. That's when Nicole started thinking. Why would the doctors have a lion unless... Nicole's thoughts was interrupt by the lion loud scream. It dashed once again, but this time faster.

" They.. Tested on you.." Nicole stated this with pain because of her ripped lips. She stood still and dropped the knife. The lion stopped just in front of her as if knowing what she said. Nicole looked up slowly towards the lion." Didn't they?" The lion stood there, a panting mess. It was exhausted from killing, but it answered Nicole's question with a nod." That's probably why you can understand me..." She sighed, but grunted slightly. She shouldn't really be talking because her lips, but she did anyway. The lion like beast moved its head to Nicole's face and some how licked The blood off her chin. It was worried. Nicole smiled lightly and rubbed its head." Thanks for not killing me," Nicole whispered so she didn't feel pain from the stitches. Most of them was already torn off her skin, but some was still there.

The beast growled, trying to speak words but was unable. That's when Nicole heard a very tiny voice inside her head that said," they tested you to?" Nicole stared at the beast with a shock expression.

" Did you say.. That?" She asked, slightly surprised. The lion nodded." Well... Yeah.. They.. Um-he shot a liquid in me, cut me, and sew my mouth... I would of died if I didn't find a knife.." Nicole lowered her head and stared at the ground. She started thinking of her only friend, her face slowly becoming emotionless. The lion catches Nicole's stare and nudged its head on her face. Nicole blinked and looked up at it with a small smile. As if knowing what it wanted, Nicole lead it through the woods. They both didn't know where they was at...

Nicole and Lion, the name she gave the lion beast, traveled through the woods. The sun was slowly lowering over the horizon and it was getting pretty cold. Nicole shivered, but remand walking beside her new friend beast. Lion stopped and turned its head to Nicole. It knew why Nicole was slowing down, because she was still a human. Nicole stopped and looked at Lion with confusion." What is it, Lion?" Nicole's voice was felled with tenderness. Lion moved to Nicole and kneeled down, waiting for her to get on its back. Nicole shook her head, but lion refused to move. With a sigh of defeat, she crawled on lion back and held tightly to its curved body. Before they left the awful area, Nicole wrapped some of Lions wounds for Lion, so Lion could move easily. Nicole hugged herself closer to the warm lion beast and smiled. Soon she drifted off into a unknown sleep.

Nicole woke up with a yelp from her nightmare. She had a dream where she killed Lion. That's when she realized her surroundings. She was laying up against a tree and a pond was in front of her. The sun was up the sky, shining in Nicole's eyes. Nicole jumped to her feet, ignoring the dizziness in her eyes. Where was Lion? " Lion!?" Nicole yelled, searching for her only company." LION!!?" Nicole scream, tears in her eyes. Every single one of her friends always abandon her. Nicole fell to the ground, sobbing in her hands." Lion..." Nicole sat there for awhile, waiting to see if Lion would come back, but there was no trace of him coming.

After watching the sun lower back to the horizon, Nicole stood from the ground and began walking through the random woods she was in. She didn't care no more... Just a half mile from where she walked a house was placed. It was an old cabin with lights and a garden. Nicole slid out her knife and walked to the door. She couldn't care what happens to her. She kicked the door down and looked around for anyone. Once she heard someone panicking about the sound she made, Nicole hid behind a wall. The taping of feet came closer to her. It was only one person and Nicole knew that. When the tapping stop, Nicole jumped from her hiding spot and tackled the person to the ground. She held the knife to the unknown persons throat.

" M-miss?" The person spoke with a weak voice. Nicole stared at the person with emotionless eyes. He was an old man, probably in his 60's. Nicole still held the knife to his throat, not caring what the man look like." Are you hurt?" He asked with out hesitating. Nicole's eyes widen slightly, but still held the knife to his throat. Her grip tighten and she began to grow angrily." You know if your hurt you need to tell someone..." He spoke softly as he closed his eyes. Nicole slid the knife across his throat, causing blood to overflow the wound. The old man was wise, but yet dumb, Nicole thought. Nothing in this world could cause Her pain to go away. Nicole dragged the body of the old man to a random closet and shoved him in there before shutting it. The cabin was a nice place to live with a kitchen, living room, bathroom, and two bedrooms. Nicole walked in the second bedroom down the hall and glanced around. Everything was blue, even pictures of a baby girl was on the wall. Nicole then heard a baby cry. She flinched and looked at a baby bed. A baby laid in the bed, moving and screaming for comfort. Nicole hesitated to pick the baby up. Once the baby girl was in Nicole's arms, it hushed and giggled. Nicole's eyes widen slightly, but soon she smiled lightly." Luna..." Nicole spoke the baby's name," Luna Summers.." Nicole sighed. She wasn't heartless to kill a baby. Maybe she could drop it off at a orphanage.. Nicole tucked the baby up in a cover and gave it its pacifier. She left out of the cabin and into the cold night. If there was a cabin in the woods then that means shes close to a town.
