Just as Nicole opened her eyes she felt a pair of eyes on her. Inside she grew a little fearful, but refused to show it. She sat up and glanced around, but there was no one.

Sighing, Nicole shook her head and continued to walk to her bathroom. It was pretty nice to have your own bathroom, but Nicole didn't like how it looked like a closet.

Nicole was never grateful for anything, or at least she thinks. She never felt the feeling of happiness for two long years.

" Hm~" Nicole hummed lightly. It sounded deep and slightly creepy, but she liked it that way. She loved humming creepy songs while taking a shower. Most people always said humming isn't talking so Nicole decided she she'll hum at people she truly loved or cared for. The shower was one thing that she truly enjoyed.

Nicole slipped out of her dusty cloths and jumped in the shower, stilling humming a song she knew very well. She turned the hot water all the way up and grinned as the water hissed against her smooth pale skin. Her skin was a perfect silky pale color. Running her fingers through her greasy dark brown hair and scratching her scalp, Nicole grabbed what ever shampoo they threw in there and ran it through her hair.

After rising off and finishing her relaxing shower, Nicole stepped out of the bathtub and wrapped a towel over her chest and below her waist. She refused to looked at herself in a mirror so there was no mirror in her bathroom. Nicole hated her whole body, but at the same time she didn't care.

Nicole entered her cold room and shivered in pleasure. Her skin was plain light red from the extremely hot water she bathed in, but she liked it that way. Just the feeling of cold air hitting your hot body made Nicole jump with excitement. Nicole knew it wasn't normal, but that's why she liked it. After all she was a monster.... A monster that people think that has no feelings what so ever.

Nicole roamed through her room for anything to wear, and luckily found a closet full of put up cloths from last two years ago. As if she didn't care if they fit, she grabbed dusty white jeans and a black long sleeved shirt. Since there was no underwear or brea that she had left, she'd wear the ones in the bathroom.

Nicole changed in the bathroom quickly and glanced at the clock hanging in her room through the opened bathroom door.

Nicole bit her lip, refusing to show any sign of any emotionless. She clinched her hands to fists and kept telling herself that she was a monster with no emotions. Why'd she do this? Well, lately Nicole started feeling emotions she didn't understand, so to avoid them, she tries to fell depressed or at least fell something to replace the feeling she was having.

Depression soon hovered over her and she unclenched her hands. Nicole walked to her room's door. Just as she was going to open the door, the door sung open to reveal a kid just Nicole's age. He had bags beside his feet. His face was pale and there was purple bruises under his eyes from the lack of sleep.

Nicole stared at the boy and instantly knew why he was here. Her new roommate. Mostly, the consoler sends unneeded kids to her room to kill themselves so she didn't have to deal with them. An evil bitch right? Nicole rolled her eyes, but hid it. She stared at the boy, and he stared back.

" I-I'm Mark," he strutted slightly, as if he was contemplating. Nicole didn't answer, she just stared at him. He instantly felt uncomfortable, and Nicole felt this. She moved passed him swiftly and headed down the hallway, not even looking back to see what the boy was doing.

Nicole walked into the cafeteria. It was felled with around thirty kids in there, but Nicole didn't care, well, maybe a little. She didn't enjoy the noise at all. Why did she have to eat anyway? Nicole sighed, but not out loud. She spirited off to the breakfast table and grabbed a plate of waffle with butter and syrup on them and walked calmly out of the room. She knew she couldn't eat in her room, but she had always did so way stop herself now.

Nicole entered her room to hear the shower running and the other bed made and set for tonight. She couldn't help but laugh a little to her self. She liked how the teen was up tight. Nicole sat on her messed up bed with her plate of waffles and sat it on her night stand. She felt like she couldn't eat nothing. Didn't she feel hungry a minute ago... Oh yeah she just did that to get away from the Mark kid. Nicole signed and frowned. She pulled her knees to her chest and laid her head between them.

Just as a tear was going to fall out of Nicole's eyes, Mark came out of the bathroom as swiftly as she did once before- with out making a noise. Nicole was startled, but didn't show one drop of emotion. She just looked at the blondie. He had a green shirt and blue jeans on. His hair was so wet, as if he refused to dry it.

" If I may," Mark spoke softly," may I ask your name?" He stared at her for an answer. Nicole just stared back. It was like they was having a staring contest, and so far Nicole was winning.

Just one thought came across her mind that made her contemplate more.' Maybe I could treat him differently... I mean A test to see if my emotionless stares makes them go insane or is it just me...' It was a good plan, but on the other half, what happens if he tries telling everyone that she was talking to him... He'll get picked on and get bullied... No, She wouldn't let that happen.. She'll just tell him to keep it a secret.

" If you don't want to tell me your name, that's ok-". Nicole interrupted him." No... My names... N-Nicole.." She wasn't used to talking to someone, and she felt a little shy. Mark stared at Nicole as if he had saw a ghost.

" Y-you spoke to me?" He strutted." I-I t-thought you would... Never speak and kill me... " Nicole stared at him with annoyed eyes. She was just showing her feelings to see if the emotionless thing was what got them to go mad and that was it, is what Nicole kept telling her self.

" Listen..." She spoke softly and deep," don't tell no one that I spoke to you..." He looked at her confused now.

" Why?" He asked.

" Please..." Was all that Nicole could say. She didn't want to say,' oh nothing, I was just going to use you as a test subject...' That'd make Nicole seem evil and he'd be scared out of his wits, and that's not what Nicole needed.

" Okay.." Mark sighed and chuckled out of no where. Nicole growled.

" What's so funny?" She asked, obversely a little mad.

" I-it's just, why did you pick me to speak to?" He asked. Nicole sighed, another something to think about.

" You heard the.. Rumors?" Nicole asked shakily. She knew most of the rumors, and let her tell you, they are so bad most of them are called threats.

" Yeah..." He muttered, lowering his head in shame." And at first I thought you would kill me and make it look like I hung myself," he admitted. Nicole was taken back a little and a feeling raised inside her that she did not know of.

Guilt? Regret? Hurtful? What was that feeling? Nicole shook her head and grabbed her hair. Mark was shocked at what she did. Tears came to Nicole's eyes as she kept muttering ' I'm a monster' over and over.

Mark placed a kind hand over Nicole's hand that gripped her hair tightly. Even though he was scared slightly, she kinda felt her pain. He didn't pity her, he was worried and he cared." It's okay..." He whispered out softly. Nicole stopped shaking and her body relaxed, even her grip on her hair. She looked up at Mark with tears in her eyes still." Just calm down.." He whispered just louder. Nicole smiled lightly and nodded, taking a breath. All the feelings she had was replaced with a feeling no one could give her for two years- happiness.
