The trees swayed gentely, more or less the leaves fluttered to the ground creating an eerie green and yellow glow to illuminate the clearing. Leo sat at the edge of the pond lying his head in his hands. He looked into the pond. There he was, a skinny boy with blonde hair and green eyes. Fed up, Leo threw his fist at the water in defeat, trying to disguise the sobbing sound coming from his throat. His head throbbed violently. His body felt weak and frail. He wanted to scream but it just wouldn't come. Something was wrong. Leo, everything is going to be alright. You'll expirience these more often sooner. They won't pain you.... Leo tryed to make out the words. Who was saying them? He struggled to find someone and looked at his surroundings. His vision was blurry but Leo swore to himself he saw a leopard enter the clearing. It can't be a leopard he thought. It's to small. "What...?" He stammered. The cat grinned as Leo passed out.
Darkness surrounded Leo. He looked around slowly expecting something to attack him. Suddenly he heard voices. Leo listened and clenched his fists at the mention of his name. "That boy, Leo. I want you to find him and make sure hes silenced, permenantly."
"Of course your lordship"
"We can't let him know the truth, understand? He is a threat to all of us. Why do you think we killed his pride."
"But sir, he's the last of his kind for all we know, we can't hurt him. Can we?"
"Do as I say!" The man said marching up to his henchman pressing a knife to his throat.
"He is to powerful, Law states that anyone with his mark is sentenced to death, unless they somehow find a camp" he whispered. The scene changed. Leo found himself standing in a forest face to face with a man. "Only five with make it to camps. You are a very important were-cat boy, listen to me, the camps are at war and you may be the odds against winning and losing."
Darkness replaced light once more. Leos eyes flew open. He instantly grabbed his head with a hand. His head throbbed violently. He looked up to see the cat again.
"Why are you letting me see this?" he asked
My little human, no clue do you?Leo took a breth but it would be take more than his cats appearance to convince him.
"Your my other half.." he trailed off.
Yes I am Dakota. And our life is in danger
