Something Different

Before the story starts some parts of the show will just be summarized because it will go similar to what happened in canon so I felt no need to rewrite a scene that wasn't even changed

Izuku Midoriya was born into a world where 80% of the population have superpowers called quirks

Izuku doesn't have a quirk so he gets bullied and harassed by his classmates including his old childhood best friend Katsuki Bakugo

Due to a chain of events, he ended up inheriting the most powerful quirk from the most powerful hero and his idol "All Might"

But during the UA entrance exam, he couldn't score a single point but he saves a girl from being crushed from the zero-pointer

He harmed himself to save the girl and was healed by Recovery Girl and immediately send home. While he was sleeping he had a dream

Izuku opened his eyes to see seven figures beside him in a black void. There were 6 guys and 1 girl coming in different shape and sizes. But the one that stand out was a figure that look like a skinny All Might that was made out of flames

He turns to see two more figures, a man in a tuxedo and a long hair man. Both of which seem to be having a struggle. Izuku watches as the man in the tuxedo places his hand on the long hair man's face

Izuku reaches out as the long hair man does the same to him

"So you're the ninth. I wanted to show you more but you only used One for all once. But it'll be fine. Because you're not alone." The man frightened Izuku on what he mean by that

Izuku wakes up to see his window broken and his hand glowing with One for all

Inko burst into Izuku's room "What Happened!" Inko yelled. Worry about Izuku's safety when she heard the window break

"Uhhh." Izuku blankly stare at his mother realizing the mess he cause

One week later

Izuku and his mother are sitting on the table enjoying some food she made for them

"Izuku?" Inko checks on Izuku

Izuku just stared at his fish with no emotions

"Snap out of it... Izuku!"

"Uh‐‐!" Izuku snapped out of it

"Why are you smiling at that fish? Was it because of the window? It was an accident." Inko tries to reassure her son that she's not mad about the broken window

"Oh, sorry, no. I just spaced out for a minute." Izuku began to eat his food showing his mother that everything is fine

Later Izuku is laying on the couch thinking about the UA entrance exam "Based on my estimates, I barely passed the written part of the exam. Not that it matters, since I ended up with a big, fat zero in the mock battle. Not a single point. And ever since the exam, I haven't been able to get in touch with All Might." Izuku sighs feeling burn out

"I know. Waiting for the results is terrible." Inko tries to comfort Izuku while mopping the floor

"I guess." Izuku said depressingly

"No matter what, I just want you to know I'm proud of you, and I think you're cool, sweetie." Inko smiles. She did her best to cheer up Izuku

"I didn't tell my mom about All Might or his secret." Izuku remembers how he tried to explain to her on how he suddenly manifested a quirk
