CHAPTER 9 : New Target

Maya maya pa ay dumating na si felix kasama ang isang babae na satingin ko ay si martina. Napatitig ako sakanya dahil parang pamilyar sya.

"Wait. I think i have seen you earlier. Ikaw yung nakasalubong ko kanina right?" saad ko sa babae pero tinaasan nya lang ako ng kilay

"I don't know what you're talking about miss."

Is she pretending? I'm pretty sure it's her, i cannot be mistaken. Her hoodie's the same as the girl's hoodie earlier.

My thoughts were interrupted when zein suddenly spoke

"Why did you kill her?" she suddenly said that made the girl martina frowned

"What? Are you accusing me?" galit na saad ni martina at parang hindi makapaniwala sa sinabi ni zein

"Yes i am. It's too obvious. Lea's so smart, she left a hint for us to know who's her killer. And that is, you."

Napayuko naman si martina at maya maya pa ay narinig namin ang mahinang pag-iyak nya

"Yes, i killed her. I was jealous, i wanted her boyfriend. I was so mad that i killed her. I..i didn't mean it. I was just so jealous and mad. And i was so scared for what i've done, i don't want to be in jail, so i've plotted this. I fixed all the things that i have drop so that no one would suspect it was a murder. I hanged her so that you would say it's a suicide. That's how....i've done it."

Lahat kami ay nagulat sa biglaang pag-amin nya. Akala ko ay magsisinungaling pa sya at ipipilit nya na hindi sya ang pumatay sa biktima. Pero hindi sapat ang dahilan nya para patayin si lea. She could have stopped herself from killing lea. Maybe she wanted to kill her.

Nagulat ako ng biglang sinampal ni zein si martina. Isang malakas na sampal.

"Traitor. You betrayed her. She trusted you with her whole heart, but you have the urge to betray her." saad ni zein na nagpataka sa akin. May iba pa bang rason si martina kung bakit nya pinatay si lea? Bakit sinabi ni zein na trinaydor ni martina si lea?

"May i request to take martina to my office? I need to talk to her about something. Don't worry, i won't kill her, but i might harm her." biglang saad ni zein at hindi na hinintay pa na makapagsalita kami dahil bigla nyang hinili si martina papunta sa direksyon kung nasaan ang office nya.

"Should we follow them?" pagtatanong naman ni kuya kay yohan at tumango naman si yohan

"Attention student, please go back to your rooms. Officer's will gonna handle this thing. We are assuring you that everything's gonna be alright and alea will get the justice she deserve."

Pagkatapos sabihan ni yohan ang mga estudyante ay umalis na sila. Umalis nadin kami dahil baka mapagalitan pa kami kung mananatili pa kami dito.

Pagkadating namin sa room ay sinalubong ako ng yakap ni chen at ni rhea. Kanina pa pala sila naghihintay samin.

"Ayos lang ba kayo? Wala bang masamang nangyari sainyo? May nalaman ba kayo tungkol sa nangyare?" sunod-sunod na pagtatanong ni chen kaya naman kwenento ko sakanya lahat.

When we entered my office i immediately slapped her so hard that cause her head to tilt to the side

"What the heck?! What's wrong with you?! I already have confessed my crime!"

I just stared at her and didn't speak. They are listening to us, i can't risk it.

"I know you guys are listening. I am asking you nicely, could you please leave us for a minute." i said while still looking at martina

Seconds later, i heard their footstep walking away.

"Who? Who ordered you to do this?" i said while glaring at her but she just looked at me looking confused or should i say, pretending to be confused.

"What the heck are you talking about? I did it on my own. I already have told you my reason. You should call the police now, or i might do what i did to lea."

"I might have killed you already before you can kill me."

Seeing her just smirk despite what i have said annoys me. So i grabbed her neck, very tight.

"P-put me d-down, you b-bitch" she said so i slammed her down

"Tell this to whoever the mastermind is. I may not know who she or he is for now, but i'll make sure that i'll gonna find it out. And if i do, i'll make sure that person will suffer. Including you, the puppet. I'm giving you a warning, don't you ever try to hurt sai if you still wanted to open your eyes and see the world. I'm not dumb, martina. I know you killed lea because she was trying to protect sai. She knows you have a plan or should i say, your masters have a plan on harming sai. And you've betrayed her. You were her friend, her bestfriend to be exact. You are such a traitor. But you failed, you failed on doing the plan that's why you killed lea. Do you think your reason that you have said earlier would buy to me? Too bad i am smart. Smarter than you. Try to harm sai nor her friends, he'll kill you." 

I may sound calm, but i am very eager to kill this girl infront of me. But i cannot let myself be stained by blood.

"Too bad, she have became their new target. You can't stop them anymore."

Because of what she said, i grabbed her hoodie using my left hand and slapped her using my right hand

"Don't mess with a mess, bitch. Don't tease the beast. Don't say that i didn't warned you, because i did. If you won't listen, then go and continue digging your own grave." i said and slapped her one last time before i left her in my office.

I immediately went to lea's office and i found the investigator still checking her body. I went and approached lea's body. The investigator tried to stop me but at the end, they let me go near lea's body. When i held her hand, every memories of ours goes back to my mind. How we met, how it all started and how it ended.

"Lea, i'm sorry. I'm sorry that you have been killed trying to protect cael's sister. Sorry if i putted you in this situation. Pangako, hindi masasayang ang sakripisyo mo. Your death won't go waste. I promise you that." mahinang saad ko at hinalikan sa noo si lea at pagkatapos ay inilahad ko na sakanila ang nangyari.
