Chapter 17

The next three days were uneventful for both women. Andy never brought up who the father was and Maya decided to leave it at that for the time being. Carina was growing accustomed to the demands of American hospitals and had spent some time over the weekend looking at apartments in the city.

When Maya's shift ended on Sunday night, she took out her phone and texted Carina.

Maya: Can't wait to see you. I'll be home in 10 minutes. Give me half an hour to freshen up. See you soon, Dr. DeLuca ;)

Carina was packing her bag for her overnight visit when she heard the message come through on her phone. She had talked to Dr. Bailey earlier that morning and asked to rearrange her schedule. Miranda did not care as long as her patients were looked after and she responded promptly when she was on call.

Carina: Good news, bambina. I don't have to report to work tomorrow until lunch time. Looks like we can stay up late tonight. If you haven't already, don't change out of that uniform. You know how sexy I think you look in it.

Maya had begun to change into her street clothes when she read the message. She immediately stopped and threw her navy uniform back on and headed for the door.

"You're not changing, Maya?" Vic asked as Maya walked past reception.

"No, I am in a bit of a rush tonight, if you know what I mean."

Vic chuckled and said, "Understood. Have fun with that hot Italian doctor of yours."

Carina was leaning up against Maya's door when the blonde exited her apartment elevator.

"I couldn't wait half an hour, bella," Carina whispered seductively as she leaned in and pressed a deep kiss into Maya's lips. "I see that you left your uniform on." The doctor reached her hand up to Maya's chest and traced her finger over the SFD logo on the breast.

Maya couldn't take it anymore. She reached around Carina and unlocked her door. She attached her lips to the taller woman in front of her and pushed her through the door jam. Their legs twisted about each other as Carina dropped her bag and Maya reached behind to shut the door.

"As much as I love this uniform on you, I can't wait to strip it off." Both women kicked off their shoes and made their way to Maya's bedroom. Maya pushed Carina down onto the edge of her bed and walked away. "Where do you think you're going?" Carina questioned. Maya didn't answer and skipped her way into her bathroom. She turned on the shower and took off her pants. She let her hair free from its tight ponytail and shook it about so the curls would loosen. Maya had only been gone 30 seconds when she heard Carina yell for her to get her ass out there.

She poked her head around the doorway of the bathroom, "Did I hear you yell something, Dr. DeLuca?" Maya sauntered out into her bedroom wearing only her tight uniform t-shirt that hugged her curves and lacy red underwear. The long blonde locks fell right at her breasts. Carina was speechless. Maya decided to take advantage of it, "Who is the flustered one now?" Maya turned to walk back into the bathroom. She turned her head back and said, "Well, are you joining me or what?"

The Italian sprung to her feet. She stripped her clothes off piece by piece, leaving a trail of fabric in her footsteps. Carina was completely naked by the time she got to the shower. Maya was still in her t-shirt and underwear. The doctor's mind was in another universe at this point. She couldn't believe that the beauty in front of her was about to be all hers. Carina reached up to the neck of Maya's shirt and harshly tugged on it. She was desperate for the touch of Maya's skin.

"Let's get this off of you, bambina," Carina said seductively. She tugged a little harder and the cotton uniform shirt started to tear. "Oopsie," she whispered as she completely tore the front of the shirt, leaving Maya's chest completely exposed.
