DREAM - Rich.
Of course, Dream is rich as fuck. He loves spoiling people he loves and holds dear to his heart. Family and friends. And there's no doubt in my mind he would spoil his s/o too. Good thing Dream is smart and is good at detecting people's true intentions, and he would obviously not give someone who just wants him for his money a single dime. But for some reason, bad things sometimes happen to good people. Some goblins slip through the cracks of even the smartest people. He thinks nothing of it when he can't find his card. He probably left it in between the cushions again. It finally dawns on him a few weeks later, seeing all the missing money from his account. Why didn't his bank call him? What the hell? He discovers that someone had blocked the number from calling to inform him. But it's too late. The money is spent and gone. And so is his s/o.
TOMMY - Inexperienced.
Ah, young love. It's either sweet as a summer afternoon or sour as unripe fruit. Either way, from what we know, Tommy hasn't had any serious relationships yet. While he's mature mentally, he has no idea what the fuck he's doing. What do they mean that the flowers weren't enough? He handpicked them himself in his mother's garden! The place he picked to eat was too "lame?" But that's his favorite place! He wanted to share it with them! Why does anything he does never enough for them? He wouldn't know if he's doing anything right because he hasn't done anything like this before, so he goes along to what they claim to want. But what he doesn't know is that his s/o just has high standards. Incredibly high standards. Too high for anyone to reach. He'll lose everything, plus himself, trying.
WILBUR - Selfless.
Wilbur is excited about love, and the possibility of loving someone for life. He's been waiting for this moment his whole life. In the middle of the relationship, he realizes this is something he truly wants to treasure for eternity. Wilbur spends all his time planning the activities they do together to be fun and new every time, in fear that they would get bored and leave him. He thinks it's working; they're both still together, so it has to be working! The museum dates every Monday, expensive dinners every Sunday, he plans them all. It all goes well, except he's blind. Blind with love. He can't see that his s/o doesn't care enough to meet him halfway. They give no effort. They don't have to lift a finger at all. All while all the work of keeping this relationship alive and running has fallen into Wilbur's hands. One day, it's going to crush him.
GEORGE - Pushover.
He'd do anything to keep his s/o happy and content. Arguments between couples are normal and healthy. But this time, they can never agree to disagree or get past anything without him giving up. George is tired of trying to get his point across, so he agrees with whatever they say in hopes that everything will get better. If an argument erupts about him spending too much time with his friends, he'll be sure to stay off his PC this week. All petty arguments. At some point in time, he'll get tired of being pushed around and will stand up for himself. Of course, his s/o can't handle the fact that they're not in charge anymore, so they'll leave; leaving George to wonder if what he did was the right thing and if it would be worth it to be bossed around again just to have them back.
RANBOO - Trust.
Ranboo, to me, seems like the person who would build his relationship on trust. He hides his face and only lets a select few see it. Trust builds slowly, and securely over time. It takes a long time, and it's a dream come true for him. He would think that nothing could penetrate this wall of trust he has for his s/o. It's built like a dam. But one lie or one single bit of information spread around that he told them and only them, could crack what he thought was indestructible. Do it again, and the dam crumbles completely. Rough waters at extreme speeds and inhuman strength sweep through the rubble, drowning what's left of the relationship, leaving it irreparable. Which is good. He doesn't want to fix it anyways. They broke his trust. They broke his heart.
TUBBO - Joyful.
Tubbo is a bright boy and has the ability to change bitter moods into something better. He's always happy to crack a joke! His s/o would rely on him to change their mood constantly. Tubbo always wants to see the people he cares about happy, so why not? He makes sure to wear a smile around them and be positive always, just to see them smile too. Asking how their day went, their interests, their past, their struggles, and everything. He'll listen, and make them feel new again. He has that ability. But like everyone else, he has his moments too. Sometimes he feels hopeless, sad, and angry, which is normal. As much as he knows he shouldn't, he masks them with happiness for his s/o to stay happy too. In the end, he's burnt out, guilty because he can't keep up the facade for his s/o, frustrated from hiding his struggles, and can't seem to find himself.
QUACKITY - Insecure.
Alex would fall hard for someone he thinks is the one for him. But there's always this thought in the back of his mind. What if they left him for someone else? Someone better looking? Taller?Stronger? Smarter? Richer? The possibilities are endless. As much as his s/o reassures him that they love him and only him, he can't help it. Overthinking cuts the string connecting them clean. Little by little, he'll change himself to fit their ideal type; what he thinks they want. It gets bad enough that alex can't stop changing himself, because he's scared that his s/o will leave him for someone else. In the end, he does get broken up with, but not because he wasn't good enough, and not because of his insecurities, but because he's not the one his s/o fell in love with anymore. He's changed into someone else entirely.
SAPNAP - Persistent.
Sapnap thinks that anything could happen to a relationship, but the power of love always conquers all. Despite bad timing, obstacles, or anything that could get in the way would never be able to survive against true love. While this might be true, it only works when the love is mutual. Arguments, disagreements, and loud, blaring, warning signs are brushed away. Sapnap believes that the amount of love he feels for them, and the amount of love they feel for him can make the impossible possible. Except, his s/o doesn't love him back as much as he does. It's a constant cycle of him trying his hardest to make it work, despite the two of them clearly not being fit for each other. It eventually ends when his s/o confesses they fell out of love a long time ago, and he's left alone, wondering where he went wrong, despite trying his best and loving them so, so, much.
