Ashwin's pov :

Revathi aunty wasn't expecting me that I would speak like this . How could she when even I didn't expect to 😆. The next day she bid bye and went back to her home .

But there was one thing which I wasn't sure , I saw something for me in Alankrita's eyes , they were unspoken words , unsaid feelings which were behind the doors of her eyes ..

The month passed like nothing . With each passing day there was an unknown void growing inside my soul , I covered it with my unsatisfactory inducements with my perfect smiles !

Without me realising , my eyes were scintillating even at a single glimpse of her , everyday.

APRIL 1st

The summer was punishing by burning everyone . She was tired for the first two weeks as she had truck fully loaded work in her office , but when she came back home , she smiled widely like a sunflower brightens when the sun rays kisses its petals softly .

APRIL 15th

She was sleeping peacefully . I didn't have the heart to wake her up . She was like a little baby , who slept after hearing her dad's princess story .

Her lips slightly smiled , I didn't know what she was dreaming but a good one I thought to myself . But I had no choice , but to disturb her . I was little hesitant to touch her . At that time , my phone vibrated , it was Vijay 🤦.

" Enna da " I whispered

Vijay : Deii Anna ... Kosu kadikudhu da , anni uh ezhupiniya ? Seekram vaa da !!

" Varen da ... vai phone ah "

I ended the call and woke her up . She thought she was still dreaming . After few seconds she sat up with a shocking expression . I too was shocked by her reaction .

" Hey hey !! Relax ma .. onnum illa . Can you come with me somewhere .. Uh ?? "

Alankrita : Uh ? Ipova ??

" Yes " I said .

She changed her dress to a orange kurti with golden coloured palazzo . She was glowing even in the dark of the night .
My heart smiled like a 16 year old boy , who would smile looking at his first ever crush .

My phone vibrated again .... ' Vijay ' , to hell with this idiot .

We went down and when she saw Vijay , she turned and stared at me . And she ran to him and hit his head like a child . They both played as if they were siblings .

And then it striked me she didn't even ask me where we were going , that showed her trust on me . We reached the place in 20 minutes .

She stepped down and gave me a ' Why are we here ' look .

It was her home , she still didn't get why we were there at the middle of the night !

Alankrita : Appa , amma ku edhum aagiducha ? Her face reflected her fear .

Vijay : Anni .. shhhh ... Thevai illama tension aagadhinga .

We slowly entered and went back to the garden of her home . The time was 11.55 pm , we three went to the door and rang the bell . Few seconds later , her dad opened the door and mom joined him . They were shocked to see us at the middle of the night .

Alankrita's Dad : Ennachu pa ..ennachu ma .. He said !

I asked them to calm and they relieved seeing us all good . Vijay and me held them and took them to the garden . Except Vijay and me , the rest three gave a ' What next ' look ... I counted 3 ....2.....1.... and switched on a little switch which was laid on the grass ! And the lights turned on

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY MOM AND DAD !

I wished them , they were all shell shocked seeing the preparations me and Vijay did . Her mom hugged her , while her dad gave me a hug . Vijay was capturing candid pictures while I gave him a thumbs up , so did he . We left mom and dad alone to have a special dinner .

She turned to look at me with those magical eyes . There were tears in them, a tear drop escaped her eyes . In an instant , my hand reached her cheeks and wiped her tears and said

" Its a happy day , so smile ! "

We went inside and watched TV . We both sat on the sofa and vijay sat on the separate one seater sofa !

I don't know when she dozzed off . I smiled looking at her . I slowly moved little closer to her and held her shoulders and made her lie on the sofa . I then took the small pillow , lifted her head and kept it under her head .

After sometime , mom and dad came back . Mom saw her sleeping and went to her while dad asked me to talk with him . Vijay too dozzed off on the sofa .

It was 7 am in the morning , we got up and went to our home .. I asked her mom and dad to get ready in the evening by 7 , as we were all going out .

9. 10 pm

Both our families were going to the beach after dinner . I called Ravin and asked him to join us . We were laughing and chatting sitting on the warm sand and with chill breeze falling on our faces . She and Vijay went near the waves and splashing water on eachother . Ravin kept talking with me and here I was not even listening to a single word he was saying 😁.

I saw her , how her hair strands tried to hide her beautiful smile from me , as if I would keep an evil eye on her . How her eyes sparkled more brighter than the stars and.... how .... her ......

Ravin : Deii .. Deii ... Avala sight adikradhuku enna en da koopta?

" Hey apdi ellam illa da "

Ravin : Thappilla .. Thappilla .. en thangachi ku enna da korachal ?

" Deii .. summa iru da .. naanga apdi elam illa "

Ravin : Machan .....

I gave him a blank look .

Ravin : It's not that your past relationship was broken with someone .. it was meant to be given who deserved your love and it was meant to be Alankrita !
I know what your thoughts are and what's in your heart , it's just you haven't realised or you aren't ready to accept .

I got into a deep thought listening to him . After sometime we reached home . That night was longer than usual . I didn't even sleep a bit , my mind kept questioning my heart , if what Ravin said was true ?

Days passed ...

Vijay went back to his all time love , Racing !

A week passed after that .

Ravin had arranged a party for me and her , inviting all my friends . I asked her expecting she would hesitate but she joined me excitedly .

Little did the couple knew that the universe had planned something for them !
