The phone call ❄️

Ashwin's pov :

After few hours , she again messaged me that she landed in Goa and will call me after checking in a hotel !

I replied and got back to my work , without realising that I had put my phone on silent !

That was when I heard a knock ! It was the peon and he said that the new , selected employees were waiting outside .

I asked them to enter one at a time ..

Few of them , came and proved themselves !

But there was this last employee , who was unexpected again!!!

It was Anikha !

" Who asked you to come here ?"

Anikha : Ashwin , I'm a new employee in your office !

" Who the hell selected you ? Doesn't Ravin know , has he gone nuts ?"

Anikha : It wasn't Ravin  who selected me .

" Oh , so you've planned well before ! "

Anikha : Ashwin , please .. I'm not  here for my job ! I have to sort out some things with you !  I won't disturb you again ...

" Tell me and leave !"

Anikha's pov :

It was the right time , to get him back in my life .

I want him back , as my Ashwin , who loved me wholeheartedly ! It is now the perfect situation to prove my love for him and to get him back !

He turned his back towards me , that was when his phone started ringing .. it showed  ' Krita 💜' .

I frowned at the name , which snatched my life away from me ! I got this as a cue and attended the call without his knowledge and began speaking loud , in such a way that she could hear us !

" I know you still love me , Ashwin ! It was my parents , who separated us . Unaku pudikama dhan indha kalyanam pannikite num enaku theriyum . But na ore oru message le Namma relationship uh mudichuduven nu nee nambriya?

Ashwin : Enna panna solra , Anikha ..  I was hell scared about you .. Rendu naala unkita irundhu oru message kooda varla .. un veetuku poi paatha yarum ile . En ulagame ilama pona maari irundhuchu apo ..

" I know Ashwin .. ne ena apo evlo love pannen nu theriyum , ipo evlo love panra num theriyum ! "

My cunning plan was working on its way ! He's pouring his feelings . I could sense the pesron on the other end of the phone in misery ! I passed a victorious smile !

" Ashwin , I'll sort this out .. Na pesren unga veetla , unaku avala pudikala nu solren... I'll take care of the things.. aana unaku enna ipovum pudikum nu mattum sollu ! "

Ashwin :  No , Anikha .. Alankrita is my responsibility .. enala avala apdiye vida mudiyathu ..

" Enaku theriyum Ashwin .. society kaaga , un parents kashta pada koodathu ndradhu kaaga nee Unnaye kashta paduthikra .. you don't deserve to be like this Ashwin ! "

Ashwin : Nee ena solla vara nu enaku puriyudhu .. idhelam ne enmela irukre love naala solre ..

Alankrita on the other side started tearing up hearing his confession about her .. Na avanuku oru burden maari dhan iruken pola .. she thought herself before she cut the call ! She couldn't hear more from him .. she threw her phone away and started sobbing ...

Ashwin : You know what Anikha ... Na en family kaaga dhan kalyanam pannen .. adhu unmai dhan .. aana unaku theriyadha oru vishayam iruku , I love my Alankrita ! I love her and only her with all my heart !! So don't ever dare to create a fuss between us .. Better you get away from here ..

Nee enna nenache .. ipdi vandhu emotional uh pesna .. na mayangiduvena ? That will never happen anymore .

Inime en vaazhke le ore oru ponnu dhan .. adhu en Alankrita mattum dhan !

Now get out ..... Out !

I got out from their with an evil grin on my face ..
" Paathute iru Ashwin .. nee epdi ellam feel panna pore nu .. "

Alankrita's pov :

I checked in , in a hotel ! I was awestruck by the beauty of Goa . I should re - visit it with my husband , I thought !
I went to my room and freshen up and called Ashwin !

But the moment the call was attended , I heard a female voice ..
I frowned hearing what she spoke .. but I found out it was Anikha !

She was trying to manipulate my husband ! I felt weak when he said some things about our marriage !

I felt completely left out .. Is he still thinking this marriage is a disaster ? Doesn't he love me ?

I went to get a good hot shower , to calm my mood . I could hear my phone ring .. I came out after after a good shower...
Only to see 20 missed calls from Ashwin !

I panicked and called him back !

On the call ...

" Hello ! "

Ashwin : Are you alright ?? Enga pona ne ?? En phone edukala ??

" Sollunga .. enna vishayam ? " I said feebly ..

Ashwin : Ennachu ma .. why do you sound weak ? Any problem ?

He sounded genuine ..

" Adhu onnum ile .. travel panna tired "

Ashwin : Seri ma .. onum ile chumma dhan .. enaku orumaari iruku .. adhan unkooda pesna seri aagum nu call pannen ..

" Namma aprm peslam Ashwin , I'm tired .. Good night "

I couldn't fake my happiness with him . I'm sure he'll find out there's something troubling me , if I speak another word .

I bursted into tears the moment I cut the call ...
I didn't expect to things to turn out like this .. I expected him to tell me about Anikha .. but he didn't , which broke my heart more ..

I loved him and I still love him with all my heart, but why does he keep breaking it everytime I go back to him ?

I then knew .. only he could break and reconcile my heart .

Ashwin's pov :

I don't understand what Anikha was upto .. will she really try to break the bond between us? I had this question ringing in my ear and I dialled her..

The moment she picked up , I showered her with questions which were pondering in my mind . But ... she was feeble . She wasn't the same Alankrita who was always chirpy and energetic .

Was she alright ?? Will she really leave me if I tell her about the incident ? Will she feel insecure about Us ??

I felt a trail of questions running in my mind .. I couldn't concentrate on anything else !

I left home , from my office .. Our home isn't complete without her in it .. I rested on my bed waiting for my wife to join me soon .
