Gulf jogged around cheerily as Mew followed behind him. Mew kept his eyes locked on the camera. He seemed to be preoccupied by some thought

'This came out ok but why didn't that..'

His thoughts took over him so much that he didn't even notice the annoyed figure looming over him.

*cough*

The coughing made Mew come down from his mountain of musing back to Earth.

He looked in front of him and saw a pouty faced Gulf.

"Gulf what's wrong?"
He asked, wondering what in the world made him angry

"Are you on a date with me or the camera?"
Gulf said, puffing his cheeks while Mew stood there frozen.

"Tha-that's the reason you are pouting?"

"Yes"

Mew was again left speechless. The great Gulf who never got angry at anything, got angry at Mew for the slightest reasons.

"Hahahah"
Mew laughed heartily as Gulf turned his face away.

Mew approached Gulf and poked his slightly puffy cheeks.

"Sorry sorry. I promise to pay my attention to only you now"

"No cheating with the camera?"

"No cheating with the camera."

Both of them laughed at their silly jokes as they walked around together.

Many stalls were already in motion even though the festival was still days away. Food stalls were busy serving quite a number of people that were already roaming around. Mew and Gulf walked hand in hand in the crowd looking at all the attractions. The entire place had a cheerful atmosphere with some kids running around after their school and Gulf's eyes stopped at a cotton candy stand. Mew noticed it and without a word went to get one.

He paid the shopkeeper money and made his way back to Gulf. But on his way Mew saw Gulf staring at something. He was like a statue, not moving or looking away. Following Gulf's line of sight Mew saw a middle aged man with a small child. Both of them looked haggard as they wore old torn clothes but nonetheless they seemed very content with their situation. The kid ate cotton candy that the man brought him while Mew wondered why that man seemed so familiar.

That's when it clicked.

That was the guy who stole Gulf's wallet a couple of days ago. Mew's perception of the man immediately changed as he was about to walk up to that man but was stopped in his tracks by a hand on his arm.

Mew turned around to see Gulf. His face was casted downwards which covered his eyes with his hair, making it hard for Mew to tell Gulf's emotions.

Gulf gently pulled Mew away to a much more secluded place in the crowd.

Both of them stood by a wall and Gulf slowly ate his cotton candy while Mew contemplated what to say.

"So I believe you knew that man?"
Mew asked as they both stared at the bustling crowd while standing next to one another.

"Hmm"
Gulf nodded while he ate.

"Is that the reason why you didn't stop him that day?"
Mew asked in a slight frustrated voice.

"WHY? Why do you just let people walk all over you?!"
He shouted in anger.

"You know Mew.. "
After a moment of silence Gulf started to talk in a calm voice.
