Maya's pov

'I'm sorry I just don't see you in that way' as I read the text message my heart felt  heavy, I put my phone down I lied there on my bed thinking of course you don't see me like that, I took my phone to see if Dylan texted back to my surprise he did 'maya I'm sorry ur a great person but I can't see like you that'. I laughed out of pity for my self 'dude it's ok I just wanted to tell you honestly I was expecting this' I  sent with a laughing emoji 'I'm getting to sleepy gonna head to bed I hope we can still be friends don't worry abt me see you on Monday ok?'. I lied back down  on the bed and just stared at the dim lit ceiling, I wasn't sure if I wanted to cry or laugh. I felt my phone ring and it was Alice "hey Ali what's up?" "Nothing much I wanted to see if you wanted to go to bar tonight I refuse to let my life as twenty-five year old be boring I already asked Luna, Adam, and Camille and they said yes so will pick you up at eight-thirty ok byeee ooo and wear something sexy" she says as she hung up, I didn't even say yes but I decided to get up anyway and take a shower. I got dressed,ate a snack, while I did my makeup and waited for eight-thirty to come around as the time that Alice told was approaching she called me again and said to start coming downstairs. I got up and locked my door and headed to the elevator of my complex, as I waited for the elevator the older lady who lived on the right side of the hallway open the door "oh maya is that you?" I turned to her "hi miss Smith, how are you doing this evening?" "I told you to call me Abigail, miss smith makes me sound like my mother" I laughed "I'm sorry Abigail how is John doing with the broken foot?", she looked up at me "that old man is loving every bit of me being his maid I'm actually gonna head to super market before it closes so I can make him some soup he can he so frustrating sometimes but he's doing better doctors say in the next two weeks he might get the cast off fingers crossed" she chuckled. The elevator ping let us know it was there and we entered "but anyways how's work and how's Jackson doing?" "work is great and Jackson he just started his first semester in college so he's busy you'll see him around thanksgiving probably" she sighed "your a strong girl for taking care of him while still being kid, your parents would be proud of such a hard working daughter unlike mine can't wait to for Ava to leave" I laughed a little,the elevator pinged twice letting us know we're on the ground floor and we stepped out "well Abigail I'll come bring some brownies for you guys tomorrow" "alright see you maya have fun and be safe ok?" "Ok ok" I said to her while walking outside I couldn't see Adam's car so called him "Adam where are you?" "I'm pulling up right now" I heard honking coming from my right side I looked and I see Adam's car, I walked up to the car and open the passenger door "hey guys so what bar are we going to?", Alice replied back "it's called star crossed and they have these super drinks good food too we all need a good time before the new vice president comes in on Monday I heard he already has a project for the magazine to bring it back to first place, god I haven't even seen his face and I'm already annoyed by him" we all laughed at her. After thirty minutes of being in car we got out and stepped into the line and got in five minutes later as soon has we stepped in we had to go through some glow in dark room that whole bunch stars and glitter we finally saw the blue lighted room with strobes of white light going everywhere "wow" we all said collectively we found a open booth to sit at "hi welcome to star crossed can I get you anything to start with?" We ordered our food drinks and spent the night laughing and drinking. I got to up go to bathroom since the alcohol was going right through me "where you going?" Alice asked "bathroom coming?". We got up and looked around the room for the bathroom we saw the neon lights saying restroom all the way in the back and went in. I got in and did my business, got out of the stalls to freshen up and wash my hands "so how did it go with Dylan? Did you tell him yet?" I sighed and "Ali I'm done with trying to date ok people just don't find me attractive enough and I'm just tired of it ok I'm done" I said angrily "I'm sorry I'm  just done with the whole dating thing it's just not for me" she looked at me shocked "well all we have do is dust you off and put you back on that bike" I rolled my eyes "No Ali I'm done I can't keep doing this it's not like I'm gonna die because I didn't have boyfriend please stop trying to set me up ok, Dylan is the last one" "But but but you can't be serious about this, one more time please ok I promise I already set up the date he's a great guy he's completely your type and it's on Sunday this Sunday" I looked at her with wide eyes "Alice you can't be serious why would you set me up with some I don't know, you better call it off now I'm not going I told you" "oh please for me one more time" she looked at me with some horrible puppy eyes "look Alice I know your doing this out of love but seriously I will not be going to that date or anymore dates as of matter of fact" "but he said your his exact type too he called you beautiful" she said whining "Alice call him, right now ok and tell him that I'm not going" she look at me and sighed "Alright I'll call Elijah to tell him right now" she picked up her phone from the counter and pressed Noah's name "hey babe  yeah everything is fine but Maya said she doesn't wanna go on Sunday so call him and call it off, ok ok love you bye see in a few. Ok done there" I looked at her "Thank you so much for understanding I really appreciate what you've done so far but those types of relationships just aren't for me" I said to her while leaving the bathroom. We ended up staying at the bar until one in morning and I was more than drunk, "youuuuu guys are the bessst i wanna eat chicken nuggetssss pleasesss" Adam grabbed me from the booth "Alright it's to go home for missy".

Authors pov

Adam helped gabby walk to car while  everyone else was behind him while heading to car  "chickennnnnn nuggets, how could youuu?" Maya spoke incoherently "she's definitely gonna need somebody to stay with her tonight who's it gonna be?" Adam asked everyone "I'll take care of her it's fine" Alice said let me just text Noah to say I'm staying over there" while Alice did that Adam started the car and headed back to Maya's apartment "IIII nned to ateee uuu" everyone looked at Maya  and started laughing, the city streets were full so it took longer to get back Maya's apartment. Maya suddenly sat up "pull over pullover now" Adam immediately pulled over and unlocked the car door , she opened the door and immediately threw up "uhhhhhhhahhhh" and again "uuuhahhhhuahh" Alice got out the car and started rubbing her back "let all it out". Alice had taken off her shoes and she tied up Maya's hair, after ten minutes they were back on the road.

Alice's pov

We finally got to maya's place and got out the car, said bye to everyone. As we were waiting for the elevator Maya kept tumbling so I had to hold her "Aliiiii cuuttee and youuuu funny" "I know I am thank you sweetheart", the elevator door opened and we stumbled inside I pressed the number fifteen and started looking for Maya's keys we got out the elevator and started walking to her door I pulled out the keys while leaving Maya to lean on the wall. I opened the door and started walking to the bed room I finally made it to the bed and dropped Maya on the bed   And put some clothes I saw on the bed next her "ok may I'm gonna get you some water, change into those ok" she replied "mmmm mmmm you". I walked out the room to kitchen and started making some sandwiches and water but stopped mid way when I heard crying "tsk oh my god she probably fell" i quickly walked to the room "Maya you ok?". All I saw was Maya crouched down on floor clutching her clothes "may what happened you hurt self?" I asked while picking her up  "whym diddnt mom loveem me? She asked me looking at me with so much sadness "I wish I knew" I told her while hugging her she sobbed for ten minutes until heard  light snores, I laid her down and put I blanket over her I made my sandwich and I went to sleep.

The first story I wrote was not as good and I had a feeling, but hopefully the story is as good as I think it is so yeah bye guys
