After everything was silent, once they hade it inside the icy cave. It was very cold and chunks of rocks blocked the path. No way out but they were trapped.

"Okay, I vote shortcut," Manny decided. He begins to turn and begins to walk deep into the cave.

"Come on, guys," Diego said. "Stick together. It is easy to get lost in here."

Nodding, they began to take the path deeper into the cave. Sid followed but he hit a slab of ice and got his tongue stuck on the ice floor. Silver begins to pull him out.

"Uh, guys?" Sid called.

Silver motion Sid to come this way which is near the path. Usually, the frozen objects do look like a museum, with frozen fish and extinct dinosaurs, some are scary and odd creatures did impress them a bit. They continue on until they caught up with the others.

"Will you keep up please?" Manny called up to Sid. "It's hard enough to keep a track of one baby."

Unfortunately, since he was walking up above Roshan slid on an icy slide and was dropped out of sight. The mammals screamed in surprise and Silver jumped in to save him, with the others chasing after her. They went sliding through the caves and into a large cavern. Silver got on her feet and started sliding around like she was surfing. They went into each tunnel and went down another. The human girl jumped on an iceberg and avoided many icicles sticking from the bottom. It shredded into pieces as Silver jumped safely to the other side. The mammals slide around by series of slides.

Manny looked up as Roshan slid around until he went flying in the air.  Sid and Diego flew through the wall, crashing it first. Silver was also next, crashing into the wall. Manny reached out his trunk and managed to catch Roshan before he could hit the ground. Sid and Diego poked their heads out and screamed as Manny collided with the ice wall, causing a makeshift avalanche.

"WHOA! WOO! YEAH! Who's up for round 2?!" Diego cheered before he noticed the looks on Manny and Sid. "Oh. Tell the kid to be more careful."

"Where's the second kid?" Manny asked.

Silver popped her head out of the snow and sneezed. Her hair had turned white with snow on her head.

"Ha ha! Look at you! You're covered in snow," Sid laughed, brushing the snow out of her head. The girl shook the snow off and nodded, feeling like she liked those mammals so car. Suddenly, Silder saw something nearby, something warm and brown.  She got out of the snow and began to investigate it on the wall nearby. It looked like a drawing. She looked further until there were more drawings. Silver urged the others to come.

As the gang continued on, they entered inside a cave. Silver saw that the cave was covered with drawings of animals and humans. It must be one of her ancestors who drew this.

"Whoa. Look, look. Tigers," exclaimed Sid, pointing to a drawing of sabertooth tiger's hunting a deer. Silver was amazed by this, but Roshan was a little scared. "No, it's okay, it's okay," the sloth comforted him. "Look, the tigers are just playing tag with the antelope. With their teeth."

"Come on, Sid, let's play tag. You're it," Diego snarled.

Sid began to giggle nervously. "Sure. OK, OK, OK, where are the sloths? You never see any sloths. Have you ever noticed?" As Sid complained, Silver looked aroudn to see more drawings, and she really wished she had something to draw, something that will change. "Oh! Look, Manny, a mammoth," Sid called out, noticing a drawing of a mammoth.

"Ooh, somebody pinch me," Manny said sarcastically while Silver took notice of the drawing and took a step closer

"This fat one looks just like you. Aw, he's got a family, and he's happy. Look, he's playing with his kid. You seeing this, kid? See, Manny? That's your problem," the sloth complained. "That's what mammoths are supposed to do. Find a she-moth, have little baby mammoths..."

"Sid! Shut up," Diego hissed.

"But... Oh."

Silver looked as Manfred stared at the drawings, a long silence beginning to follow. The young girl took a closer look at the image. The picture shows two mammoths, a male and a female, and their baby. That is what Manny is staring at. Silver could tell that he was lonely and closed her eyes. She imagined a calf playing happily in a lush meadow with his family, romping in the sunshine until a horde of humans ran out of the woods, waving their spears fiercely.

Manfred faced off against the hunters, trying to hold them back with his imposing tusks. Behind him, his wife and baby ran to find shelter. Then Manfred heard a deep, terrified scream. He wheeled around and saw that his mate and child were trapped against a rock wall by humans aiming spears at them. Before Manfred could move, another group of humans dropped heavy rocks from atop the rock wall. Bellowing in anguish, Manfred saw his family being crushed by the rocks. His cries shook the landscape, echoing off the rocks all around.

Silver felt sorry for Manny as she opened up her blue eyes. She picked up Roshan and held him, trying to regain control of her emotions. Sid and Diego stared at Manfred with worried eyes. Then they turned back to the painting, clearing their throats uncomfortably. Manfred kept staring at the cave drawings. He gazed at the sketch of the father mammoth cradling his young child in his trunk. Slowly, Manfred raised his own trunk toward the illustration. Before he could reach it, Silver's hand touched the drawing gently. She was standing on his feet, propped up against the cave wall.

Roshan stroked the picture of the baby mammoth with his fingers, glancing back at the mammoth as though he was connecting the two in his mind. Silver felt Manny's trunk wrapped around her. Silver felt like she was not alone. She gently hugged the mammoth with her hand gently. It's like she had a tamed mammal.

Sid sniffled, wiping a glob of snot from his nose with his paw onto Diego. Manfred swooped Roshan and Silver onto his back and walked out of the cave without a word. Sid followed. Diego took one last look at the painting of the mammoth family and let out a sad sigh, then sauntered out of the cave after the others.
