Arthur's POV
I got home and as I expected, I got nagged by Chloe and Jude... honestly, they look like a married couple, like absolutely they act like one. They said that they are actually going to be married at the right time. I am still 12 years old, and they are like 16 and 17, a perfect age to be engaged to another, as in my experience but I didn't get engaged to someone. Poor me... I rested outside looking out for the bread store until I got a break.
3rd person POV
Three years later, Arthur is already 15, and Chloe and Jude are now married with two kids and more workers now work at the common bakery. Arthur did his usual routine where he sells bread outside the bakery which is now café like. Things actually go well right now and it is very peaceful. Suddenly he heard some weird stuff around the area, he went to the place and he saw five people which he found weird they were arguing about stuff like who gets this or that.
Arthur: WHOEVER TRIES TO MAKE THE WEIRD SOUNDS IN THE NEIGHBORHOOD KEEP IT DOWN???
The five: EEK!!! sorry
Arthur: well ok, oh who are you guys? I have never seen you around here...
Chika: Oh my name is Ichika Nova member of the nobility Nova
Charles: My name is Charles, from the Tengin family and this is Maria, John, and seraph.
Arthur: Arthur nice to meet you.
Ichika has long gray hair and her magic affinity is ice, she can use her ice to make structures like pillar fortress and even swords and weapons, and the second born in the nova family, she's 5.7 feet tall and almost the same height as me a 5.8 foot tall. Charles Tengin is the firstborn in the Tengin family and his affinity is fire and he is now at arcane level, which means, his fire is now blue. He said it to Arthur about the magic levels. The first high stage is arcane and has ten levels, he introduced that the tenth level of the arcane is equal to the elder mages in the kingdom. practically the strongest.
Arthur: So there are arcane level mages that are practically stronger than you huh Charles?
Charles: well depends on the type of mage are you. If you are a fighter type, well you usually shoot spells from your swords, that's why they have swords that enhance the compatible user. Also, it is hard for fighters to reach the arcane level five. The strongest only reached level five and no more.
Arthur: how do they use mana then?
John: they use mana to enhance their body to add speed and strength to fight faster and as hard as they can. But they get tired because of the recoil and they have very little mana for long drawn fights.
Arthur(mind): I can see the error they only use mana from their body, but never tried to absorb nature's mana that's why they get tired immediately.
Charles: however mages who can fight like a fighter, or shall I say, mages that have skills in swords are very rare, one of the mages who can do that, is the "Prodigy of light" or " Prodigy light mage". As the name suggests, her magic is arcane light. she is a firstborn in Raghas family, one of the most powerful royalty families.
Chika: As their contributions in the last expedition to find the holy sword of light, they provided men to assist the expeditions. The sword chose her, and since the day, they trained her sword techniques even though she is now a mage, and in all grand magic games from her intermediate rank, she won almost battle which gave her the title.
Arthur: you sure idolize her Chika...
Ichika: YEEESSSS OF COURSE!!!!! SHE IS VERY strong she can par with arcane level nine and ten mages!!!!!
