"Sir you have a meeting in Singapore po tomorrow with our investors."

"Bukas na pala 'yon?" tanong ko sa secretary ko.

"Yes po, sir. Iwan ko na lang po dito yung mga files na need niyo po pirmahan and icheck." tumango ako and inayos na niya sa table ko yung mga kailangan ko gawin.

Damn! Bukas na pala yung meeting and alis ko pero hindi ko pa rin nasasabi kay Alyssa. She will be so mad kasi biglaan. Five days din ako doon kaya for sure she'll be so alone that time but she's tough.

Marami na akong business meetings abroad na kahit sobrang miss na niya ako, nakakaya niya. Ako yung hindi kasi nung minsan na umiyak na siya because of missing me ako na yung umuwi agad. I'm whipped, okay?! She's my home that's why I always come home to her.

Pero ngayon na nakalimutan ko sabihin for sure magagalit 'yon dahil binigla ko siya. Meaning na hindi siya nakapag-prepare mentally that I'll be gone for five days. Meron siyang separation anxiety because of her parents and I don't want to trigger it. Damn, I messed up so bad.

"Damn!" I hissed before sitting down. Imbis na magsimula I'm thinking very hard how will I say it to her and bago ko pa man maisip, yung taong natatakot akong kausapin ngayon ay nasa pintuan na ng office ko.

"Ly!" I was so shocked that I immediately stood up to see her.

"Ly? Not babe? Or love? Or baby? Or mahal? Hmmmmm." she crossed her arms and looked at me straight in the eyes habang papalapit sakin. Napalunok na lang ako because I'm so tensed right now.

"Ano problema?" tanong niya sakin bago umupo sa upuan na nasa harap ng table ko.

I looked at her and she just shrugged her shoulders. Pinagtripan ba ako nito just now?! This girl is really playful.

"Wala, babe. Walang problema. Hehe." napakamot ako sa sentido ko bago buksan yung isang folder na nasa harap ko.

"Hehe?" tanong niya sakin. Napa-angat ako ng tingin and nakita ko yung mga mata niyang nagtatanong kung ano ba talaga nangyayari sa akin.

"Why?" tanong ko sa kanya.

"Anong hehe? Sa mga taong awkward lang sakin ko lang yan naririnig. And why are you so tensed?" Damn. She saw right through me.

Hindi ako nakasagot agad pero narinig ko siyang tumawa. Huh? Anong nakakatawa? Maybe my face but what the hell? Is she being playful again? Tumingin ako sa kanya with curiosity in my eyes.

"Is this about your meeting tomorrow?" WHAT?! Did she know about it?

"What?" I asked her in disbelief.

"You'll be gone for five days, right?"

"Yes, babe. How did you know about this?"

"I heard your secretary talked about it three days ago and hanggang ngayon wala kang sinasabi. Why is that?" she just raised her right brow at me. I'm doomed.

Ayan na nga mukhang hot seat na ako dito.

"I forgot about it that's why I'm so tensed seeing you earlier kasi nagiisip pa ako ng way how to say it to you." Napakamot na lang ulit ako ng ulo kahit hindi makati.

"Hahaha! You're so cute!" pinang-gigilan niya yung pisngi ko then cupped my cheeks before giving me a kiss.

"It's okay, babe. Kahit biglaan mo pa 'yan sabihin. I'm okay now, remember? No meds and therapies are needed. I'm all good and it's all because of you."
